Victor Lemonte Wooten 2 - Looping & Practice chords
Start Jamming...
Right where if I just went
[C#] It is nice, but my mind doesn't allow me to hear it that way.
I think it's too much [G#] space [Em] so
[G] [C]
So I just use it I just use it for little things like that
[A#] But then a lot of times I [C#]
get to I [G#] use it to practice because for me
Situation like this is the best time for me [N] to practice
Now this is just my own way of pushing myself if I make a mistake when I'm at home
I'll stop in front of you like this
So it forces me to pull the good part of myself out
Persevere, you know
By yourself so I do a lot of things I may turn on the look I did this earlier I
[A#] May just do something like this
[C#]
[G] Okay, I have no idea what that is, [G#] but it's there [G] now so I have to make music out
[C#]
[C] [C#]
[C] I
Bad no, I didn't mean [C#] it.
So now I gotta [C] make music out of that, you know
[G]
And it turns into something that you think [F] I mean
[C]
[F] The first [C] thing I might stop oh, that's not right, you know, but this makes me force my way through and [G#] then
One [C#] night I was
[C] Even [G#] a thing where I'm on to the base [N] that came on stage
Whenever I to
Restring the base, [G] you know
Based on I'll do it with the base on if no one's around
[N] And it gets here that's to me as good
[B] [Cm] That's such an amazing
[C] Such a cool sound
[D] [G]
[G#] But I haven't heard anyone using
So I was on stage one night with the flight times.
They love always gives me a spot to do, you know, whatever I [D] want
I was wanted to retire to hearing myself play, you know, sometimes you just play the [F] same
So I just started detuning the base
[N] And I got all the strings untuned and I'm playing having fun didn't hit me you know, there's an audience
I can't [F] just stop and read to the base and I'm thinking what I'm gonna do
So I just start tuning it while I'm playing and then I went to hit me man.
They don't know I'm too
So I [G#] started disguising, you know, keeping it [F] disguise not letting them know, you know, and I'm playing [C] all this crazy stuff
here
[E] That's it, you know, [G#] but no one knows and then I get them all in in tune and I stopped I just start to tune
[Cm] Where is it?
I got [C] something there
[F#] [F#] I've probably never done it [C#] as good as I first might
But
[F] it just came from being [C] not afraid
[G#] To experiment on [F#m] stage.
I have to say this too is [F#] that um, I really
Have to thank Baylor for allowing us to be able to do that
Most bass players don't have the freedom that I have.
I don't know any other band that allows their bass player to have the freedom that I have
So I just get to grow every night.
I get to experiment, you know, and if I [C#] see a waterfall I get to attempt to play
You know what most bands basically just have to do this job, which is cool.
You should know how to do that
[F#]
Me and my bass guitar
[F#m]
[Am]
[E]
[F#m]
[C] [F#]
[C] [G#]
[A] [A#]
[E]
Well, my name is Vic, going through a literature
I go here and my bass out for something
Travel around the world and back again
[B] Just taking my bass out [G#] for a spin, you know what I'm [Em] saying
Don't go too far if you really want to find me, you know, where are you saying me and my bass guitar?
[E] Just my four strings and me and my bass guitar
[F#]
It's hard to do it
[E] [Em]
[N]
