Hi, and welcome to ukulele story time.
In this video
we'll do a hello and goodbye [G] song on ukulele, and we'll be using what I call the three [E] magic chords [C] C
G7
[F] A
And I call these the three [B] magic chords because they can be used in so many different children's songs
[Am] So the first chord C
[Ab] Goes like this
[C] You can see it right behind me on the wall.
You just use one finger for that
[G] Next is G7 which looks like a triangle
and
The F chord [N] which uses two fingers
[F]
[C] So in this hello song
Goes like this you might recognize it
[G] [C]
So I'll play it a few more times and I'll use some different strumming patterns the first strumming pattern is just a simple
pattern
And as you become more comfortable playing
Ukulele you can add more of a rhythm
Just play around with it
Let's see one thing.
Oh, so the chord progression for hello friends is C C
C
[G]
[C] C

[F] [C] It's time to say hello
All right, and during my story times I like to incorporate
other languages so this song I asked
The kids oh, there are so many ways to say hello.
What ways do you know how to say hello in other languages?
Oh
Hola, okay.
Let's try.
Hola friends.

[C] It's time to say namaste
Here's one of my favorite ways to say hello in another language aloha, let's try saying aloha
[Gm] [C] It's time to say aloha
Now let's go back to say hello friends
question
Hello
[F] [G] [C] And then after that at the end of story time you can end
With goodbye friends, which is of course the same chords and the same melody
Goodbye
[Dm] Goodbye
