TUTORIAL The Wolven Storm (The Witcher 3) ukulele chords
Start Jamming...
Hello, this is my tutorial on how to play Wolvenstorm from The Witcher 3 on ukulele
because it was requested.
[G] Yay!
So let's start from the intro.
You just need those two fingers at the beginning.
Put your index finger on 2nd string, 1st fret and your middle finger on 2nd fret, [Dm] 3rd string.
Play it once, just playing those two strings in the middle.
Then release it, play open strings.
[Ab]
[Dm] So it's like [C] this.
Then repeat it 9 [Dm] times.
[Am] [F] [Am] [Dm]
[C] [Dm] Then take your pinky finger, put it on 5th fret, play it once, play string A once.
Then play an empty string, also only the A string.
Then go back to the first position, play 2nd string, 3rd string, 2nd string.
So the first part of the intro looks like this.
[F]
[Dm] [Ab] [Dm]
And the second part is almost the same.
You play [C] this pattern 9 [Gm] times.
Then you take your ring finger, put it on the 2nd string, 3rd fret, play it once.
[Cm] Go back to the previous [Dm] position and play it [Am] on open strings.
[Bb] So like [F] this.
[Dm] [G] [Dm] [Am]
Then the third part of [Dm] the intro is exactly the same as the first one.
And then the last one, you also [Am] play [E] this pattern 9 times, [Gbm] but then at the end you move
your fingers one [Dm] string up and play all [A] strings, just strum them.
So I will now play you [Gm] through whole intro.
[Dm]
[F] Now [Dm]
[F] [Dm] [Am]
[Dm] [G] [Dm] [Am]
[Dm] [Am] [Dm] [F] [Dm] [C]
[Dm]
[F] [Dm] [Ab] [Dm] [Am]
[Dm] [A]
for the verses and chorus I use this kind of strumming [C] pattern.
[Am] [C]
[Am]
And [Dm] when I play the verses, I switch, in the middle of this pattern I switch chords.
[Gm] [Bb]
[A] And when I [G] switch chords, [A] I play A string twice.
[Dm] [Gm]
[E] And I end at E [C] string, I don't go up to C string.
Ok, so I will play you through the verses [Dm] and I will show you the chords somewhere on the screen.
[Gm]
[Bb] [A] [Dm]
[G]
[C] [A] [Dm]
[Gm]
[A] In the last [Dm] line of the verse I play the same pattern as the second part of the intro.
[F]
[Dm] Ok, [G] [Bb]
let's go to the chorus.
The chorus I begin with D minor and playing the pattern, the full [Dm] pattern I showed you
twice,
[Bb]
then B flat.
[C]
And I go [A] back to the way I played the chords [Dm] before,
[Bb] [Gm]
[A] so I switch in [Gm] the middle.
[Bb] [A]
[Dm] Ok, now I will show you the whole song.
[F]
[Dm]
[F]
[Dm] [Gm] [Dm] [F]
[Dm]
[F] [Dm]
[A] [Dm]
[Gm] [Bb]
[A] [Dm]
[G] [C] [A]
[Dm] [Gm]
[Bb] [A]
[C] [Dm] [Am]
[Dm] [Gm] [Dm] [Am]
[Dm]
[Bb]
[C]
[Am] [Dm] [Bb]
[G] [A]
[Bb] [Gm]
[Bb] [F] [A]
[D] So you just play it all three times, the verses and the chorus.
And at the end I just play the intro again.
And that's all!
