Travis Carlton stops by Norman's Rare Guitars chords
Start Jamming...
Hey everybody, Norm over here and I got one of my favorite bass players in the world
Travis Carp
Travis plays with everybody and he was playing with Robin Ford [Bb] and
His dad's kind of a beginner guitar player named Larry Carlton and one [Gb] of my favorite guitar players in the world as well
So the apple doesn't fall far from the tree here.
Travis, what have you been doing lately?
Oh, man, you know, [D] I just got back from Japan
I was over there for a couple months with the Japanese guitar player.
Talk about some other cool
Yeah, [C] you know trying to keep busy back home in the grind and you're living out here now.
Yeah
Yeah, I'm in Sherman Oaks [Bb] because he grew up in Nashville
You [Em] were born out here I was
So in anything [Bb] with Robin or any?
Roberts got a all Nashville band Brian Allen on bass one of my good friends teachers and that's so that happened
You can break your Peterson.
Yes guys.
So, um, you know, he's got his [A] band.
They sound great, too
I saw him at [Bb] Catalina with one trombone, which is very unusual, you know, so it's a
guitar bass drums organ B3 and one trombone
Definitely worth seeing Robbins.
Also, just you might be my favorite Guitar player
So Travis, could you play a little something for us just he's testing out this Ampeg b12 great studio amp
