[G] I'm John Herndon.
And I'm Doug McCombs.
[D] [A] [G]
[E] So I bought this Earthless live record [D] [A] because they were on my mind because we're [F#] playing
a show with them tomorrow [Em] and [E] they're a great band.
And then I was thinking [Bm] Earthless kind of reminds [E] me of Jimi Hendrix playing with the
Wipers and [Em] so [D] I realized I didn't have any Jimi Hendrix [D#] records so I bought [C] this [C] Hendrix
record, Axis Cold as Love.
And then I went to the [A#] ZZ Top session and I [E] realized I had everything [G#] that ZZ Top, [G]
all
the ZZ Top records, so [C] then I went to [B] the John [D] Lee Hooker section [B] and bought this record
which I've never seen before.
I'm sure [Em] it's
[B] to reissue of some sort [E] but [Bm] I'm sure it's [B] great.
[E] I'm sure it's a great record.
I'm sure all John Lee Hooker records [B] are great but I might be wrong, I don't know.
[Em] And that's [B] me.
Man, well, okay, so I bought the Earthless record [G] because I [D#] saw Doug had it in a stack
[G] so I went to the Earthless section and I grabbed it too [E] because they [G] remind me of kind of [F#m] like
Jimi Hendrix playing with the Wipers, [F#] I guess.
And [E] Scream, he's got a good record with Warrior Queen on it and some of the weirdest bass
lines I've ever heard.
I don't [Bm] know what this is all about.
The cover's [E] really ugly but maybe it's a good record.
I don't know.
[Em] [F#] Madlib Remixes 2, [F] all samples from 77 to 82.
[D] I don't know, man.
Sounds good [Em] to me.
I love Madlib anyway.
[B] His Remixes [G] 1 record is burning but [C] I haven't heard this yet.
So then [A] I went to the [A] Plasmatics section [B] and I got this.
It's a reissue.
I had it when I was in high school but, man, I was hoping they had a used copy but [C#] I bought
this one anyway.
[C#] And it's got a, I don't [B] know, it's got Sex [C#] Junkie on it.
Does it have Butcher Baby?
It doesn't [F#] have Butcher Baby.
[C#]
This [C] one's for all you who can't get enough.
[C#m] It's called Sex Junkie.
[G]
There you go.
[E] And that's what we bought.
All right, [F#m] awesome.
Thank you [E] very much.
Man, thank you.
Thank you.
