[E] [D#m] Hey, I'm Tony [C#m] Furtado.
I was [D] just going to explain a couple of things about my style,
[E]
guitar and banjo.
Well, first of all, here's my banjo.
It's a newer model, Gibson [D] Earl
Scruggs.
And I string it up with basically single strings, not a set, not a particular
set.
I go 12, 12, 14, 22, and a 12 on top for all those banjo aficionados.
My guitar
style is kind of funky and people ask me where my fingerpicking style comes from and it's
pretty much from the banjo.
I grew up playing banjo.
So I'll play a little banjo tune and
I'll jump to the guitar.
Maybe you'll hear something similar in there.

It's an old [A] Martin.
It's a 1944 [D] 017.
[A] I found it in a shop in Salt Lake
City about 15 years ago.
It's my favorite [D] guitar, especially for playing slide guitar.
So, I'll demonstrate something that I play very [B] fast with a lot of notes.
It's kind of
related to playing the banjo.
