In case anybody doesn't know.
They know.
Most of you know, but in case you don't know, we had a fan camp several years ago.
We decided they wanted to do something for New Orleans because it was still relatively soon after the hurricane.
And wanted to do something.
[Eb] [N] We had lost some instruments and stuff during the flooding.
The fans got together and they collected $10,000 and we gave it to this program.
And that would have been it, except that everybody got such a good feeling out of it.
They wanted to make something more permanent.
It was great.
I was there.
They wanted it to be something a little more permanent.
And so we, me, I thought about how we should focus ourselves.
We decided that we wanted to succeed for getting music education into public schools again.
[F] And especially at very early ages because some of the research that we [N] use in support of our argument
says that if you get some, especially learning to play an instrument like this,
if you get it at an age when your brain is still forming, it changes the way you process sounds.
So if you don't go on to be a musician, you still get benefits out of exposure.
So that's essentially what the Spirit of Harmony is about.
Like this, and to try and give them the ammunition that they need.
If they need to go out and get funding or something like that, to go to people to find funding.
And also connecting together, forming networks and connections between different programs
so that they can help each other as well.
That's kind of what we're about.
We're not an endowment organization.
We don't fundraise all the time.
Pretty much only for our operate.
A single program can run into the [Abm] thousands.
Sometimes [N] it covers enough kids.
And those programs need local support.
You know, we can make it happen.
We're not blind people.
They need local support.
So you guys being here obviously is an important aspect of that.
Because you will message forward as well as school districts and whoever has the basic education.
So anyway, we want to thank you all for coming.
We want to thank Quaker Steak and Lube for their support.
We're going to be wrapping our [Em] bus for the next [Am] time we go [G] out on tour.
Really?
[B] We're going to look like rock stars.
Yeah, we're going to look like a real band.
[Eb] We're going to get a bus wrap.
[G] [N] So yeah, this is a working out great so far.
We'll get the most out of this one.
We'll [Eb] [N] see you guys again.
Yay!
Can we toast to winning?
Yeah!
This one is honey jalapeno and celery.
It's pretty mild.
This is Louisiana liquor.
This is our fan favorite.
It's a mixture of five different sauces.
That one's a little mild.
This is hot.
That one's a little hotter.
Let me get you, this is a wing wag.
You'll need the wing wag.
When you say wing, you have to say wag.
Nice and warm.
[Eb] Michelle, we've got to make a [N] commercial to let everybody know that we're going to do something at the North Canton location in September.
Where everybody can come back down and support the local music education.
[F]
Michelle will not be there, but we can all be there and have a great [N] time together.
There will be more on the Facebook page.
Do you want to stand between us and mention that?
Yeah, sure.
This is Joel.
I'm a Bork employer.
But you do more than just be a Bork employee.
My background is in non-profit stuff, so that's what I do.
So he tells us when we're doing stuff [Eb] right.
They're doing good.
But anyway, [F] we're planning [Eb] on supporting a local music program in Richmond out of Canton, Ohio.
They've [N] been featured on the Hall of Fame parade and stuff.
It's a wonderful program.
Works with low-income students.
Excellent.
In September, we're going to get together on a Saturday.
We're working it out with Quaker State and Lube right now in terms of the date.
Please watch the Spirit of [F] Harmony website for the exact [Eb] date.
Please come on [G] down.
Let's have a good time.
We're going to have a party.
[Bb] Music.
Plus, I've had [Ebm] some of the wings.
They're great.
These are huge.
Are they banging?
[Bb] [N] I took three and hardly turned out.
It's in North Canton.
It's the North Canton Portage Avenue location.
Got your wag ready?
I'm using my new lipstick.
There you go.
It's beautiful.
These are a little spicy.
A little bit?
No, it's a little bit spicy.
I can handle it.
My wife wants to know if she's going to eat all that.
A little share.
Actually, I don't eat before a show.
[Eb] Right.
This is a very important show.
I'll be belching chicken when I eat.
[N] Do any burps come?
It's your show.
I'm going to take them with me so I can meet them after the show.
We have a 20 hour drive, so we're not going to share.
We're going to go see the eclipse in [Gm] [N] St.
Clair, Missouri.
I'd also like to let you know it's either September 17th or September 24th.
We're going to be doing an event at Quaker State in Maui View.
We're going to be supporting these young kids.
And we're going to kick off scholarships at the School of Rock as well.
That's great.
What day is that?
September 17th to September 24th.
We're going to work the date out into Sunday.
Awesome.
One or the other of those dates.
We really appreciate you and your support of music education.
Quaker State, as you know, if you haven't had a chance to come join us, please do.
We love live music.
We love entertainment.
We love to help young folks [A] keep music alive and keep it going in our communities.
[Ab] What's the lube part?
This would [F] be Quaker State lube is our beverages.
[D] They're [Abm] often loaded.
[N] But we do have unleaded as well.
Hey Todd, would you take a picture with the lube?
That would be awesome.
Love it.
