career as a [E] groundbreaking musician, humanitarian [G] and entrepreneur.
Hey, it's Addison Hager, and back in June of 2022, the country legend revealed he was
battling stomach cancer, undergoing chemotherapy over the past six months.
So the fact that he was physically here to receive the award was huge.
I want to thank the almighty for allowing me to be here tonight.
He's been riding [A] shotgun with me for a little [F#] while.

The last time we saw Toby at something like this was last year at the [Am] BMI Awards when
he accepted the Icon Award.
