Okay, here is an [E] arrangement of Till There Was You, and the first time I ever heard the
song was The Beatles, and it's probably with most everybody, but everybody's probably heard
[G] the song.
So it's a great fingerstyle tune to [E] have under your belt.
Now, I'm [Gm] not doing
it like The Beatles did it.
We're doing it a little slower.
It's in a different key,
and I don't have any of the Beatle introductions or riffs in it.
It's just a pretty song.
And
as you can tell, we did the last A section, we modulated it, just to kind of lift it up
and do something different.
And we had a little fancy ending on the end.
And then you
got a nice little fingerstyle arrangement.
So it's, since there's a lot of repeat, it's
not too hard to get this song down.
We're doing it again, I think a little slower than
The Beatles.
You know, I always wondered, why did The Beatles even do that song?
What
was the motivation behind them doing it?
I mean, they're a rock and roll band.
And all
of a sudden they do Till There Is You.
It's like, why not just do Girl From Ipanema or
something like that?
So I don't know why they did it, but I'm glad they did.
And they did
a great job, maybe to be more, to show people, hey, we can play anything.
So someday I'd
like to hear, they're probably, they probably explained that at one point.
[E] I just never
heard it.
But anyway, let's get into it with some close ups and some, download the PDF
and we'll get into it.
And you've got a wonderful song under your belt, but not too much effort.
You ready?
Here we go.
