Chords for Tiko - Fishy On Me (Piano Tutorial Lesson)

Hello guys, this is AmosDollMusic and in today's lesson I'm going to teach you how to play
Fishy on Me.
It's a very catchy song, it goes like this.
Give you a preview before we start learning it.

so let's go ahead and learn it right now.
So we'll break it up into, I guess, [Gb] four parts.
It's easier to learn.
First part goes like this.
Right hand starts on the Bb up here.
So middle C, C, F for reference.
We go up an octave to this C.
We then go up to the Bb.
Up here is where we start.
So we have five Bb [B] in a row.
So we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, [G] G, F, [Cm] Eb, Eb, [Fm] G, F.
[Bb] And that's it for the first part for the right hand.
Let's do it again.
So it goes five Bb, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, [Eb] then G, F, Eb, Eb, [Bb] G, F.
That's it for the [Ab] right hand for the first part.
Once you get that left hand, two chords here.
The two chords are Fm7, which is F, Ab, C, Eb, and then [Gm] Gm7, which is G, Bb, D, F.
So with these two [Ab] chords in mind, so [Gm] Fm7 and Gm7, the two ends together goes like this.
Bb and [Ab] Fm7 together.
_ _ G and [Gm] Gm7 together.
_ That's it for the first part.
Let's do it again.
It [Ab] goes together. _
[Gm] _ _ That's it for the first part.
[G] Moving on [Fm] to the second part.
Right hand continues.
It goes five Fs, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and then four [Eb] Eb, 1, 2, 3, 4, [Fm] G, F.
That's it for the second part.
Let's do it again.
It goes five Fs, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, four Eb, [Cm] 1, 2, 3, 4, [F] G, F.
That's it for the right [Cm] hand.
Left hand, two chords here.
The two chords are Cm7, which is C, G, [Eb] Bb, and Ebmaj7, which is Eb, G, Bb.
Okay, so with these two chords in mind, the two ends together goes like this.
F and [Cm] Cm7 together.
_ _ G and [Eb] Ebmaj7 together.
That's it for the second part.
[Abm] Let's do it again.
[Cm] It goes together.

That's it for the [G] second part.
So back to back to the two parts we've learned so far.
We play like this.

Moving on to the third part.
Right hand continues.
It goes, let [Ab] me see.
It's actually pretty much nearly the same as the second part, but just with one less note on the right hand.
So it's the same here.
It goes five, 1, 2, 3, this time it's just three Eb, and then the rest is the same.
G and Gm7.
_ Actually, the chord is different.
Yeah, so not exactly.
So the left hand chord is the same as the first part, but the right hand is the second part right hand,
except it doesn't have four Eb's, it has three Eb's.
So that's the easiest way to remember it.
So like this.
_ Three Eb's, G and [Gm] Gm7 together.
Like that.
So that's the third [G] part.
So it's very interesting.
This third part is kind of like a fusion of the first and second part.
In terms of the first part, it's the same two left hand chords.
In terms of the second part, the right hand is the same, except it doesn't have four Eb's, it has three Eb's this time.
So that's something that you can use to remember it [Fm] quickly,
and just know how to play this third part a lot quicker without just memorizing the notes. _
_ [Gm] _ And that's the third part, okay?
So [Ab] back to back the three parts we've learned so far will be played like this.

Now, moving on to the fourth and last part.
Right hand continues, goes two [Eb] Eb's, up to [F] G, F, and then two [Eb] Eb's again.

Easy, so just eight notes here.
[Ab] So Eb, [Abm] Eb, G, F, Eb, [A] Eb, G, [Dm] F.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand, two chords here.
The two [Cm] chords are Cm7, which is C, Eb, G, Bb, [Eb] and then Eb major, which is Eb, G, Bb.
So with these two chords in mind, so Cm7 and Eb major.
Two hands together goes like this.
So Eb and Cm7 together.
[Cm] _ _
G and Eb [Eb] major together.
And that's it for this fourth part.
[Cm] One more time.
Together.

So back to back the four parts we've learned so far in this lesson.
Well, I guess that's pretty much all the four parts here.

_ Yeah, [Ab] so after you get it, you can add improvisations to it, but the chords end up changing pretty
quickly, so it might be difficult.
But you can do arpeggios and harmonize on the right hand.
