Start Jamming...
Hey [N] everybody
Mojo from 3chordguitar.com
today we're gonna look at a riff or an approximation of a riff or a take on a riff or a riff inspired by
The song by John Hyatt feels like rain.
It was
Specifically I'm thinking [G] about the the version [Gb] by buddy guy.
[B] So today for gear wise we're gonna have a little bit of fun
[A] We start with a [Ab] CV Ravon strap into an [B] AST sword AST [Gb] and there is no effects of any kind right now
This [E] [Bb] [A]
[Bm] [E] [G]
[Gm] [G]
[B] let's add a little compressor
[E] [Em] [G]
[Db] Maybe a little [Bb] trend [B] or
[Bb] [A]
[E] [G] [Gb] reverb
[E]
[A] [G]
And while we're at [B] it, I'm gonna add a little bit of vibe to
[E] [A]
[G]
[Bb] [B]
[Em]
[D] [C]
[G]
All right, so in terms of [Bbm] how it's played several fun with this too so we start on the low e string
At the three five seven [Gb] fret and we slide up [B] to it
[E] [C]
[B] so
Seven [D] then fifth fret with the index finger on the a string [E] then seventh again
[Bb] with a ring finger and then [C] this
And this is the fifth fret [Db] on both the D and G string
[E] And back to the seventh on the a string
[Gb] with the ring finger
[C]
[Gm] And we go back to we slide up to the seventh fret on the a string
[E] [Am] [G] Then the index finger fifth fret [Bbm] on the D string
[A]
Seventh fret on a D string [G] back to the fifth
[Em] [C]
[A]
[Gm] So back to [A] the fifth fret [E] back to the seventh on the a
[E] [A]
[Em] And I like to slide up to the [B] on the [E] D string the ninth
[D]
[C] [Am] [E]
[C] [E] [G]
From the ninth [A] with the index finger [N] I catch the seventh fret on the me down is on the G string
[Em] Back to the ninth on a D and then [Am] go down one [Bb] fret per finger
[B] [G] The pinky grabs the tenth fret on the a string
[E] The index is still in the a string, but this time on the seventh fret
slide it down to the fifth and
Catch and semi bar chord there the fifth fret on the D [G] string so it gives us this
[E]
[Em]
[E] Yeah
[C]
[A] [Em]
[G] Then you can do a bar bar code for a G
And you're going to do [D] this
[G] Little riff
[Gm] So we're still the [Bm] seventh fret but this time on the G string
[Bb] [Em]
So with my [Bm] middle finger I
Slide up to the seventh fret on the G and
[E] Then with my ring finger.
I hit [Em] the seventh fret on a high E string
back to the G [D] string
this time I lifted
[A] my
ring [Gm] finger from the high E string at a seventh fret and placed my [Gb] index finger on the fifth fret of the ie so
[D] [Bm]
[A] Back to the seventh fret on the G
[G] And my newly made available ring finger is now at the eighth fret on the B string
[Gm]
