This is about my grandfather who meant a lot to me and
He passed away in 2003
And I wrote this song after we knew that he was sick, and he wasn't gonna be around much longer
One I wanted to sing it at his funeral to kind of honor him, but two I wrote it to really remind me over the years
Of what he meant to me and who he really was to me
I was afraid that I might forget over time and I thought if I put it in a song it might help me remember so
