Why do you play music?
I play music because it makes me happy and I can make other people happy. _
[F#] It's a feel-good [A#] thing and no matter what you're feeling,
[E] you're feeling down, depressed, out, it'll make you happy.
[N] And if you just listen to music and if you're feeling happy, it'll make you more happy.
[E] What do you love about music?
I love music and it was a big part of me.
Of course, it started from when I [D#] was young.
Music is in our blood and family.
But yeah, I just like making people happy and making people smile
and changing people's lives if I can.
And yeah, music is just awesome.
Music is indescribable.

[F#] I actually wrote this song _ in 2006, I think.
It was actually an R [B]&B song.
Before, [E] I used to make hip-hop [F#] music and stuff.
That's the only thing I used to record.
And then [B] me and Keenie-boy Kalelhano, we [F#] were in my old studio
and we were recording and I made this [G#m] track with [E] some synth.
And then he [B] ended up going on the [F#] microphone and he ended up saying like,
Hey baby, it's [B] hard for me to say this.
But it took me so long.
He [F#] did this totally big cheesy talking thing [E] in the beginning
and I was like, oh, no way.
So when he was doing [F#] that, I was like, watch this.
I got this.
And I ended up writing the first verse and the hook.
[B] Oh, not the first verse.
The [F#] ending and the hook.
The third verse and the hook.
[Bm] And then I recorded it and that's all it was.
[C#] It was just like [B] a corny talk, verse, and a hook.
And that was it.
And [F#] then [B] last year, _ [F#] when we were doing the album,
I was like, oh, we should do this [D#m] song.
So I ended up [G#m] writing the first verse and then I couldn't write a second verse.
So [F#] I kind of just let it go.
And just recently, I finished the song.
[B] Bring it back [F#] to life.
But I do love my girlfriend.
Who is [E] this song for?
If you're listening [F#] to it.
I guess it's for [Bm] anybody that can relate to it.
That, [F#] how can I put it?
_ [E] [C#] It's that one that [D#m] you want to say I love you so bad
and you just really don't know how to [B] say it, you know?
What you know [F#] inside.
Like you love this [B] person, but then [E] I guess you don't want to bring it out yet
[F#] because you don't know if it's going to be too bad
or you don't know if this person is feeling the same as you.
You know, [B] it's tough.
When you hear it, you can [F#] make up your own little thing [D#m] about it.
But [G#m] yeah, it's [E] going to be [F#] a good one, though.
It's all lovey-dovey and stuff.
