The Rolling Stones - Jumping Jack Flash (Early Take) chords
Start Jamming...
It was the winter of 67, 68, and I came home one night and my wife said,
honey, Mick Jagger called and wants you to call him back, left his number.
And I just got a flash, as she said that, he wants me to produce them.
And then I very nervously called up and Mick said, Jimmy, can you come by?
I'd like to talk to you about something.
And I agreed, stopped by his house, we had some tea,
and sat and talked for a few minutes.
And he said he had liked the things I did with Traffic and Spencer Davis Group,
and had been aware of my productions for some time,
and told me that they were splitting up or had split up with Andrew
and with the people they had been with business-wise up to that time.
And they were looking for a producer, and would I be interested?
Just as simply as that.
And they had material at that time for an album,
which was to become Beggar's Banquet,
which was the first series of sessions that we worked on.
And I think the first track we cut was Street Fighting Man,
but the first one we finished was Jumping Jack Flash,
which was issued as a single prior to the album.
So that was my first release as a producer with the Stones.
