The band was called The Outfield and their single was Your Love.

[Em] The [G] Outfield slammed onto the scene in [A] 1985 with their debut [G] album, Play Deep.
The [A] album went double platinum and [G] produced four hit singles, [A] including the top-ten hit, Your [Bm] Love.
Their follow-up album, [C] 1987's Bangin', went gold on the strength of the singles No [Em] Surrender and Since [A] You've Been Gone.
[G] Since you've been gone, there's [A] something I wanna say.

[Bb] But by 1988, the band's success was fading and after their third album, Voices of Babylon, drummer Alan Jackman decided to call it quits.
With no drummer and grunge [C] taking over the music scene, [Bb] The Outfield took time off and went back to [Bbm] their native London.

After [Ab] several years away from the music business, the [Db] band is back and hitting the road again.

[Bb] It's the best CD ever.
[Abm] With sold out dates across the US, The Outfield isn't taking their [A] success [Ab] for granted.
We're enjoying it more actually this time around than we did when we played at [Db] Wembley.
Because we're that much older, [B] more experienced, better players.
