Yeah, we have a big band and it turns a lot of heads.
[Bb] Basically, I think what happened, the history of how the band came together and the reason it is the way that it is, is that Maggie and I write just the two of us.
[C] And when we record, we record all the parts ourselves.
And we both come from fairly classical backgrounds where even though you only play one part of the [Dm] piece, you are [Eb]
kind of [Dm] subconsciously learning all the other parts of the instruments are playing and just that [Db] big, intricate sound of moving parts.
So, when we first started trying to perform live, I think we did like a show where it was literally the two of us as a duo trying to play these songs that we had built into these big, almost orchestral arrangements.
So, it wasn't until we [D] added the second drum set and had like two electric guitars so that we could cover all of the different intricacies happening that we really started to feel like, alright, [Bb] yeah, here we go.
Like we're finally [Fm] really capturing the spirit of what we were [Bb] trying to accomplish on the record.

I swore that I would never leave.
See, I can teach you all [Bb] my answers.
I leap into [Eb] the water, and I look for a [Bb] pool, but there is none.
And I [Cm]
[Bb] shouldn't love you.
I [F] know I shouldn't love you, but I do.
[Eb] [Ab]
[Eb] [F]
[Eb] I feel it in my soul.
[C] I feel the empty hole.
The [Bb] cup that can't be filled.
I feel it in my blood.
[C] In the fire, [Eb] in the blood.
The peace that can't be filled.
[F] Even now, in love, my steps and love leap into [Eb] the water.
All the days [Bb] divided, I now poison [Cm] my veins.
[Bb] I know I shouldn't love.
I know.
