Hey, what's up you guys?
Marty Schwartz here with Marty Music.
We're going to break [C#] down the kinks, You Really Got Me, and it's the same kind of chord shape
all over the place.
I think you'll enjoy it.
I also just want to let you know, Marty Music is my project that I have, and I've got a
bunch of free courses and other premium courses there.
The first comment will take you there.
I appreciate you checking it out, but let's break this one down.
All right, so you can play this all with the same power chord shape.
If you're a super beginner, you can play it with one finger all moving around on this
top string, and I'll kind of explain it as we go.
So the first beginning has the roots on the one and the three, and it goes one, three,
three, one, three, one, three, three, one, three, one, three, three, one, three, three,
one, three, and we're going to play a power chord, which would be the first [Cm] fret, third
fret, third fret, and later on as we move up, we actually can change it to a full bar chord.
For the first two chords, it's a power chord, and we go same thing.
Instead of one note now, we're playing the power [F] chord.
[G] [F] [G]

[A] Three, [G] five, five, three, five, three, five, five, [D#] three, five, [G] three, five, five, three,
five, three, five.
Then, up to here, which is the eighth fret, eight, ten, ten, eight, [D] ten.
[C] [D] [C] [D]
[D] You got me, [C] [D] you really got me, [C] you really got me, you [D] really got me.
[C] Then, you just play that [F] full bar chord on the eighth fret, and it rings out.
Then, the whole song starts over again.
Let me play through it.

If you're messing around as a beginner, just think one finger and just play around between
the one and the three, and then between the three and the five, and then between the eight
and the ten, [G]

[D] so forth and so on.
If you can't play a full bar chord and you've been messing around with Nirvana and Green
