This song is very special to me because it's become my anthem, my testimony.
In October of 2014, I faced one of the greatest battles of my life,
when at six months pregnancy, I had a stillborn little baby girl.
Talk about fighting a battle that was too hard for you to fight alone.
I had to surrender everything to the Lord, and I had to put my faith to the test, you see,
because when we go through things in life that we don't understand,
whether we realize it or not, we're making a choice.
Either we're going to trust in God's plan and know that because He loves us,
that He promised He would work all things for our good, even if it doesn't feel like it,
or are we going to do like so many people have done and turn our backs on God and say,
God, you could have spared me from that pain.
Friend, that's the worst thing you could do.
If you've turned your back on God, and if you're at a place where you're completely lost now,
which I'm sure you are, if that's what you did,
surrender yourself to the Lord and say, God, I know that you love me,
and I want to try this again.
Listen to this song that we wrote about my experience.
It's called I Love You More.
