Hey, that song, the new album, in fact, inspired by a big trip to Cuba, right? Yes, yes.
Who goes to Cuba and can remember anything?
That's what I'm asking.
We did.
Was it a good trip?
We did.
Marco [C] actually kept notes and journal.

I'm [C] the sober guy.
[Am] But we [A] documented everything.
And that's what's cool about The Faces.
We've been [D] documenting every step along the way.
Pretty cool.
[N] That song that you just sang was co-written by Jimmy Barnes.
What was it like working with Barnes?
You know what?
It's funny.
He came into it.
Well, first of all, this is our drummer, Brian.
He started recording with [A] us in Cuba, and then he couldn't come over to finish the record.
So [E] Jimmy's son, Jackie, filled in for Brian.
So Jimmy kept popping by the studio every day, like, hey, mates, how's it going?
[B] So he heard some of this stuff, and he came in with a tape of Empty Heart.
And he played it for [F#] us.
That and one other song.
And we all heard Empty Heart.
We're like, [B] that's such a good song.
[F#] Every guy on the studio floor was just sitting, [G#] like, standing doing [Am] this.
Just head moving.
Jimmy's one of [E] those guys, one of those voices.
He was meant to do that.
It's in his DNA.
And what about [G] joining Kiss on tour?
That's exciting.
This should be, yeah, it should be.
It should, well, you know what?
We're all old friends, and we've known those guys.
I've known Gene since [G#] 1987, 88.
So it's cool.
This would be our third run, actually, with [F]
the Daces.
And Larry [D#] desperately [C#] wants to join your band, [D] but [E] clearly he doesn't have the hair requirements.
Don't need any hair these days.
I like Cuba.
We've got some great hats, though.
