[F] [D] Alright [N] guys, I've got another budget guitar review for you today, and honestly this might
be the favorite one that I've found so far that's under $100.
And yeah, that's right, this guitar is like $70.
I got this one I think for $67.99, and that's including shipping and tax and everything,
so you can easily find this for $70, maybe $75, that kind of thing.
As always, I'll put some links in the video description below to where you can find this.
But I did a review of an acoustic guitar by the same company, Glarry, a few months ago,
and it was like a $45 acoustic guitar.
Turned out to be really good, so I thought I'd check out some of their other products.
Now this guitar is definitely meant for heavier styles of music.
It's kind of modeled after an ESP F-Series guitar as far as the shape of the body, in
particular the upper and the lower horn.
There's a few other differences though, the headstock is different, and the back of the
body here is different.
But overall that's kind of the style that they're going for.
Now as far as the specs go, it's pretty straightforward.
It's a basswood body, a bolt-on neck of course, it's a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.
We've got 24 frets, and these are pretty decent, kind of medium, medium jumbo frets.
We've got some nice shark tooth inlays on here, kind of like a Jackson neck.
And then we've got a volume, a tone, and a three-way blade type switch.
Now as far as the pickups go, we've got a humbucker in the bridge, a single coil in
the middle, and a humbucker in the neck position.
And the rest of the stuff, the tuners and so forth, is just generic, unbranded stuff.
So like these other inexpensive guitars that I've reviewed, it's just kind of mind-blowing
that you can buy a guitar for well under $100.
This one was, like I said, less than $70, and it plays and sounds really pretty good.
So I gave you a clip at the top of the video of this guitar playing with a backing track,
but we'll go ahead and listen to how it sounds isolated, hear how it really sounds.
Let's check it [D] out.

[N] Alright guys, so that is the $70 Glarry heavy metal style guitar.
They call this the burning fire style guitar.
And yeah, I mean, you know, again, I gotta say, for the price, this is really unbelievable.
And I've played some other cheap guitars, some of them even less expensive than this
one, but I think because of the pickup configuration and just the overall build quality, this is
really my favorite under $100 guitar that I've found so far.
Now I got this in black, of course, because it's the most metal of all colors, but you
can also get it in red, white, and kind of a sunburst finish.
And the guitar also does come with a few accessories.
It comes with a shoulder strap here, kind of a cheap cable, one guitar pick, and of
course the whammy bar for the tremolo.
It also comes with a gig bag, and as gig bags go, this is not that good.
It's a very thin material.
It's really not going to protect the guitar very much, but you are able to carry around
the guitar with this.
It's got some shoulder straps if you want to use it as a backpack, and honestly, the
guitar is so inexpensive.
I mean, if you do damage it, so what?
Now if I was going to change anything on this guitar, I would change out the pickups.
They actually sound pretty decent for how inexpensive they are, but they're pretty low
output and they're also not wax potted.
That's a really common issue with inexpensive guitars.
That basically means that if you're going to play through a lot of gain at a high volume,
you're going to have a lot more feedback problems than you normally would.
But you could easily swap in a set of pickups later on, and this guitar is totally playable
the way it is just out of the box.
So if you're looking for an awesome starter metal guitar or a guitar that you want to
mess around with and do some upgrades later on, this is definitely one to check out.
This is the Glary Burning Fire [Bb] style heavy metal guitar.
Alright guys, and one last thing, that backing track that I was playing to at the beginning
of the video, I do have that available for download, so I'll put some links in the video description below.
And as always, I would love to hear what you thought of the guitar and what you would like
to see me review in the future.
Alright guys, as always, thanks for watching.
