[B] You know, Holy Water is our conference this year.
I believe it's prophetic.
I believe it is timely.
I believe it's a moment where not just pastors and leaders, but anybody, everybody from all
walks of life, anyone who's hungry for [Db] God can [B] come and experience God in a fresh way
[Abm] and drink from that river that [B] I believe is going to leave a lasting impact.
[Gb]
[B] [Abm] We're not here for a conference agenda.
We're here to meet with God.
[Eb] And so everything else that we do, everything else [Gb] that we plan or prepare has to [B] revolve
around that.
We do our best to try and interpret what we believe God is wanting to do.
But at the [Eb] same time, [Abm] if we have a moment where God's just like, that's a nice start,
but let's just scrap that.
Let's see where I want to go.
We don't want to [Eb] get in the way of that.
We don't want to stand in the [Gb] way of what God's doing.
[G] If he's moving, then we're going to stay there.
And honestly, that's the expectation that I come to conference with [B] every year of like,
God, what are you going to do?
You know, [Gb] like, what are you going to do in [B] this moment?
It's like there is a specific mark that happens for each year that we can never actually expect.
We prepare, we plan, and then God just like Henry said, God just goes, and now this is
what I'm going to do.
So Saturday morning of conference this past year, Pastor Paul Bergen, one of our teaching
pastors here at The Belonging, someone who we've known for many years all the way back
from Australia, preached an incredible word.
Yeah, I think there was something really unique about Pastor Paul's message because he talked
about the anointing oil and what it means to be anointed.
And the weightiness of that word then coupled with just people's hunger.
And I think it was a build up [E]
of everything that had [B] been happening.
He was getting ready to finish out his message.
He said, you know, I just feel like we need to lay hands on everybody in the building.
But actually, I feel like prophetically that Pastor Henry and Alex need [Db] to be the ones
that lay hands on every [B] person in the room, which, you know, there was probably 1500 people,
maybe a little more in the room at [Db] the time.
So we were like, okay, well, you [B] know, here comes the next hour or two, you know, it's
going to be a powerful moment where [E] we just get to lay hands on people.
I didn't intend on [B] getting Pastor Alex and Henry to pray for everybody.
But that was sort of as I walked up on stage, [E] I felt the Holy Spirit wanted me to do [B] that.
And of course, you know, when anointing people in the Old Testament, the oil always flows
from the [E] top.
And so I thought it was significant that [B] they do that.
We sent the team out, they found as many, [E] you know, little bottles of anointing oil
as they could, you know, [B] scrummage up from around the building.
And we just set up two lines, we began to lay hands [E] on people.
And I'm telling you, the glory of God [B] filled this place in a way that I haven't experienced
in a very long time.
[E]
People are starting to encounter God in ways that [B] a lot of people hadn't ever seen before.
A lot of people were not familiar with people being [E] delivered, set [B] free.
And it was this tangible, heavy weight of the glory [E] of God.
And people were getting set free, people were getting delivered, people were getting [B]
prophesied over.
And we, I mean, we didn't even realize, we just [Abm] kept praying and praying and praying and praying.
[B] I mean, it went for six and a half hours, I think, [E] seven hours.
And Pastor Henry just scrapped every breakout [B] session.
He was scheduled to preach that Saturday night and we scrapped that.
[Abm] And that's what was beautiful about it, [B] to watch the body just work in unity.
I mean, the worship [Gb] team worshipped [E] for six and a half hours, but there was tag team [B] happening.
The kids department looked after the kids, but then there were [Dbm] car park attendants [E] relieving
the kids workers.
And it wasn't like, [B] oh, that's not my area.
Everyone wanted everybody to [E]
experience.
And to be honest, I really feel like it was the breakout [B] of revival.
[Gb] I think that's what the Bible looks [Dbm] like.
And it marked people.
[E]
[B] [E]
Our church, you know, we love to minister [Gb] and not that every single meeting you have
to have, you [Abm]
know, laying hands on people every single week, but it's part of [B] the church.
It should be part of the church.
We don't just show up to [E] be entertained and hear a funny word or, you know, sing a couple
of nice [B] songs and go, that could be any club.
Like we are here to encounter and, [Abm] you know, the Bible talks about what happens when you
lay hands on [E] people.
It talks about [B] what happens when you pray.
It talks about what happens when people are [E] prayed over.
And so, you know, what happened at conference really [Gb]
is an extension of what happens and
has happened over the [Abm] last eight years of church.
[B]
Something powerful when you come [E] together corporately and you seek after Him and you
combine [B]
faith and worship and just say, Holy Spirit [Abm] move.
They're the moments that mark people [B]
and that people are never the same again.
So I just [E] encourage people.
If you're hungry, feed Him.
If you're hungry, [B] like this could be the moment in our time [Abm] where revival and reformation
is ushered in [B]
and I'd want to be part of that.
So I hope you do too.
I didn't even realize [Gb] how prophetic the statement was of holy water [Abm]
because I do believe God's
calling His church [E] to holiness, not self-righteousness, [B] but holiness, righteousness, purity, power,
[Abm]
anointing, encounter.
Let's keep the main thing, the main [Gb] thing that is the power and the presence of Jesus.
And I'm [E] expectant because it may not happen like that again.
[B] And I don't think it will because God never memorializes Himself the same [Abm] way twice.
But I tell you what, we will [Gb] pray.
We will plan.
We will prepare and God's going to have His [E] way.
And I believe it's going to be an exceptional encounter that's unique [B] to what God wants to do.
