[G] [Ab] Hey everyone, I want to [Gm] do a real quick video [G] just to kind of show how to [Em] play
The [Bb] temple OS him risen on piano.
I got a lot of comments basically saying do you have the sheet music for [Gb] this?
Do you have the [Bbm] notation?
I learned it by ear and then I sort of just improvised over it
There is a [Eb] temple OS
Collection [Ab] of MIDI's you can find online and there is a risen [Bb] MIDI there.
So you might be able to import that
But I've heard that some people are having trouble with that
So I'm just gonna go over real quickly the notes for it and then sort of what I did to improvise it
So the notes are really simply the first part of prison is gonna look like this
[F] Now [Bb]
[C] [Bb]
in my piano [F] version also in the electronic version I did [Em] I skipped the doubling of that note
so my [F] version is really simple, it's [Bb] just
And then the second part is admittedly more difficult
But again, [A] it's fairly simple once you get it down it's [Bb] just sort of a confusing pattern at first
[A] So [Gb] [Bb] [Fm]
[F] it's kind of confusing it's kind of all over the place but once you get it down it becomes [Bb] fairly simple
[A] All [Bb]
[Fm] [Bb]
[F] right
so for the actual video [Ab] what I did is I sort [Bb] of
Slowed it down put the sustain pedal on and threw in a really simple left-hand chord progression and the left hand is basically [Dm] just
[C] See [Bb] be flat.
So when you put together [Dm] you have
[Bb]
[F]
[Bb] And that's pretty much it everything after that was just sort of improvisation over [E] D so
[Dm] You [C] [Bb] really
[Gm] [Bb] [Gb] just sort of just making stuff [A] up
[Bbm] The cool thing about this is you can kind of throw it in any key and [Bb] it's gonna change the way it sounds and there's
Actually some [N] ideas I've been toying with I probably want to make [Bbm] a couple more piano versions
[F] Basically a bunch of different hymns from Terry, [Gb] but I really just like the risen one a lot
I think a lot of people know it, you know is on a lot of his videos
But even just changing the key you can create such a different atmosphere such a different feeling
So if I take it from D and put it into a you [Am] would have
[C] [F]
[C] [Dm]
[Fm] [Eb] G
[Db]
[Eb] [Bbm]
[Eb] [Db] [Eb]
[Db] [Gm]
And [Bb]
[Eb]
[N] yeah, that's basically it.
Hopefully this video helps anybody who wants to sort of make their own versions make their own remixes
That'd be totally awesome
if you end up using that or using this making a remix of it or just doing any sort of
Songs based on Terry Sims definitely like link a comment or something in this video so you can check them out.
Thanks
