Hey, what's up you guys?
Marty Schwartz here with Marty Music.
Thank you so much for the
continued support of Marty Music and martymusic.com. It's a Gear Thursday video and I'm going to
show you a new guitar that you may have seen in a few of my recent videos.
This is the
brand new Taylor Guitar Grand Pacific
[F] 717E.
I'm going [Ab] to compare it to my 814CE so you
can hear the differences and I'd love to hear which one you guys like the sound of more.
Now the design of this, Andy Powers who's making the Taylor guitars, he had been thinking
about more of that bluegrass sound and they've never done a shape like this, you know like
the dreadnought shape, no cutaway, [G]
you've got the stained spruce top, it's really pretty,
mahogany and spruce, plus a new design on the neck that is very comfortable as you work
your way up.
And I just want to hear from you guys in the comments which one you prefer.
Obviously I don't think you can go wrong with either guitar but I'm very excited about this new one.

Alright so a little comparison there for you guys, even here, now obviously I'm recording
it into an audio device so you might lose some of the ambience that I'm getting here,
truly acoustically, but this one does feel a little bit warmer to me.
I'm digging the
new body shape, the dreadnought shape.
Now some people obviously are going to prefer
that cutaway for the shred zone up here,
[G] but yeah man, they really did something really
nice with this guitar.
If you want to learn more specs, get into more detail, you can
always go to taylor.com and check out the specs and all that fancy stuff.
But just wanted
you to hear it, loving this guitar, you're going to see it in more videos.
Once again
let me know which one you preferred in the comments below [E] and thanks again for supporting
Marty Music, we'll see you again!
