[Bb] Come on, boss!
Hi, I'm Tatiana de Maria on the van's warp tour.
This is my humble abode, and I'd love to give you a little tour.
Um, there is an active shooter potentially in Trader Joe's at the moment,
so kind of being glued to this TV, trying to see what happens next.
Um, hope everybody's alright and there are no casualties.
Um, so we've got the TV on, um, staying in touch with the outside world,
which is a bit hard to do on tour, especially on the TV.
Here we have a lovely pharmaceutical shelf, which is all sorts of things.
Aloe, sunscreen, arnica, we're all inflamed.
I hurt my, uh, I busted my wrist twice before the tour started,
and then had someone jam my finger in the first week.
So it's been a very interesting start to the tour.
This is my lovely guitar.
Um, just came off stage, played a set today, which was a lot of fun.
Thank you, Chicago.
It was a great time.
Um, and then, [C] yeah, this is where we hang, chill.
There's a little desk to do some work.
Um, we have Lisa Johnson, rock photographer, who rides with us.
So she has a little set up there and does a bunch of [Bb] work every day, which is great.
A lot of the classic and, um, very unique bands' walk tour shots are taken by that lady,
um, who's probably in the field capturing some amazing shots right now.
Um, here's a little hangout spot.
A bunch of raincoats.
Don Broco, Wicked Band on walk tour.
Um, is there any day in Chicago [Bb] today?
So here are some chairs.
They're lovely.
Don't know what else to say about them.
No, it's very, [Ebm] they're very comfortable.
Um, we hang [Bb] out here sometimes late nights.
Funny, because we don't, we have friends [Ab] come by the bus a lot, and friends crash, and [Bb] friends chill out.
So it's a really fun hangout spot in the living room.
Need a lot of chairs to keep everybody happy.
Um, an [C] inordinate amount of beer on our bus at all times.
And a lot of popcorn.
[Eb]
A lot of popcorn.
Will not [C] go anywhere without a flask of popcorn.
Even some specialty [Bbm] popcorn.
Don't know where these came from.
They showed up from somewhere.
[Bb] Um, Itos, Doritos, Fritos, the whole collection.
Um, and yeah, [C] kitchen cabinets, all of that jazz.
Some magical things in there, which I will not share with you.
Um, because I've obviously stuffed them in there.
Let's keep this place tidy.
[Bb] Um, no, lots of, lots of fun things in the closet.
It's a pretty good storage space, to be honest.
[C] Um, bathroom.
Beautiful,
[Bb] beautiful painting, portrait.
Lovely place to hang [C] out when you need to pee.
Here we have some coolers.
Um, all sorts of drinks.
[Bb] Divide it up.
More [C] boozy on the bottom shelf.
Less boozy on the top shelf.
Also, coffees at the bottom.
And then, a fridge.
Quite a substantial fridge, I have to say.
This is [Bb] pretty great, especially when you're on walk tour.
Um, catering is amazing on walk tour.
Everybody knows that, and I think a lot of bands talk about it.
However, days off, um, specialty little things that you want.
Avocados.
I buy a lot of avocados.
Um, I say that.
There's, there's basically a fuck ton of pickles in this fridge, is what there is.
There's about seven massive jars of pickles.
Um, [C] yeah.
So that's that.
Microwave.
Popcorn.
Um, but [Bb] otherwise, pop-tarts, whatever.
Midnight, hanging out.
Microwave, always handy.
This is where I sleep.
Now this is obviously a bit of a private sector.
[C] Three bunks, three and three.
Get the lights on for you.
Here we go.
So there's top bunk, middle bunk, bottom bunk.
And, um, top bunk, you, uh, sway a little bit more in,
because you're at the top of the bus.
Middle bunk is a sweet spot to get.
And the bottom bunk is a little bit smaller, [Bb] a little bit crapped on space.
Um, so yeah, that's pretty much how the bunks work.
When you get on a bus, if you're gonna ride on a tour bus,
go for that middle bunk.
Throw your bags in there, throw yourself in there, throw your mum in there.
Just get in that middle bunk.
I'm living in a top bunk, which is wonderful.
You get the most space living at the top, which is something I do love.
Um, which is [C] lovely.
So that's mine.
Top right.
And, uh, yeah, love it.
Back here, we have the back lounge, which is a lovely room.
In the back, it's an extra room where there's a shower as well.
Gonna leave that shut, respect some privacy.
Move back to the front.
Thanks for checking out the bus.
My name is Tatiana De Maria.
