decided we needed to be in Houston, Texas.
Well, I know some of y'all don't like Houston, but I do.
I can't help it.
That was my first experience with Houston, actually.
We needed to be in Jepson Stadium at the University of Houston
for ZZ Top's first gig in Texas in over two years.
Matter of some importance.
Now, the problem is we were all 16 years old
and none of us had any money and none of us had a car.
But, I mean, we worked on those problems.
The tickets were only seven bucks for that show.
And it wasn't just ZZ Top either.
It was ZZ Top, [B] Wishbone Ash, Savoy [G] Brown, the Doobie Brothers,
and Fleetwood Mac for all the girls that were in the band.

But we didn't even have a car.
But, well, one guy's girlfriend had a car.
Or, actually, her dad had a car.
