Split Trax - How to Play chords

Hello everyone, please excuse the shakiness
I'm just trying to hold the camera right now, but I wanted to do a quick follow-up video to the in [Bm] Christ alone
Distribution [N] video where I mentioned the split tracks mp3s people had been asking about how to use those or listen to those files
So I thought I would show quickly on a computer an iOS device and on Android
So you can listen to maybe just the one part or the other three parts and there may be other ways
But these are just some methods that I found that I quickly wanted to show you so first on a computer
so let's pretend on a computer you've downloaded the
mp3 files now you'll first want to download a program called
VLC media player once you get that you should be [A] able to just drag the file you want to listen to
Into [E] VLC media player and now it's starting to play now
This one I picked is the soprano to part so that means the soprano
Solo part is playing on the left or out of your left ear [C] and the other three parts are playing out of your right ear
So if you want to hear just the soprano to part you would go up to the top menu to
audio
Stereo mode and then pick left and now [E] VLC
I'm playing the file, but nothing's playing yet because soprano [G] to doesn't start singing yet in the song so [Gb] if we jump ahead there it is
So now soprano to is just playing and once you've learned the part if you want to listen
to the other three parts
[Eb]
[E] Just pick the right one and now the other three parts going out of the right ear will play on their own
and then just jump back to
Stereo audio stereo and then stereo to hear again the three parts on the left and the three one part on the right
No three parts on the right [G] and the one part on the left
Now the computer
I would recommend as being the best way to listen because the nice thing about VLC media player that I haven't figured out on an
iOS device or an [Ab] Android is that when you use VLC and you pick the left side it actually puts it in more like
Right in the center, so it's kind of nice
How it [Abm] fills it in if you're listening through headphones or even on a computer just through the built-in speakers
It's kind of nice so you can pick one or the other and it puts it right in the center on an iOS or an Android
What you're going to be using is the built-in balance
Slider so you can listen to the left or the right side, which I will [G] show you now
So it's not I don't know that it's as good
at least to my ears I like it when something's centered, but
It still works.
So this is what I'll show you next.
So on an iOS device.
Let's say right now [E] I have
The music in the phone and I would want to listen to this split tracks file
Obviously you just playing play it like normal there where you will go to change the balance
So you can listen to one part [F] or another is in settings and then in general
Get down focus and then in accessibility
go down to
There's the balancer
so [Abm] if you want to listen to the one part in the left ear the solo part for the
Part you're wanting to learn like bass or soprano to you
Pan it all the way you slide [N] it to the left.
You want to hear the other part slide to the right
Keep in mind.
This will only work if you've [Ab] got headphones plugged into the audio jack
Because the speaker on the iPhone is not stereo
So this you have to be using headphones and quite frankly, it'll be easier to learn if you do
So that's how you do it on an iOS device.
[A] It should work the same on an iPad
But this is an iPhone 5s so it should work on any iPhone or iOS device and then for [Ab] Android
same type of thing really if you
Swipe down and go into your settings
And it's tricky because I'm trying to ah, there we go.
I don't know what version this Android has
Maybe [Gb] it's the newest but under accessibility.
It's the same kind of area find accessibility
Hearing and
then if you scroll down here's sound balance you'll press on that and
[Ab] I can't adjust anything because again
You can only [Em] do this when you use headphones or [G] if you plug in any other stereo listening [Ab] device like [E] external
Speakers or an amplifier
But then you'll be able to adjust this to listen to the one part on the left or the other three parts on the right
And that's it.
[F] I hope that made sense
Please put a comment down below if it doesn't make sense
Or if you want more information if [Ab] there are other methods to do [G] it with an iOS device or an Android
Maybe share if I figure out something else, I'll try to put more information in the description at this point though
That's what I figured out
I think it should work for anyone because you'll probably want to learn it through the headphones and the built-in balance
[Abm] Feature does a pretty good job so you can solo the one part you want to learn or practice it with the other three parts
Hope that works for everyone.
Let me know in the comments.
