To start the song,
you want to play a few single notes.

_ _ Right hand is going to play a G,
an A, and a [G] C.
_ _ [C] _ Then your right hand is going to play
a C root position chord, C-E-G.
I [Em] add that G with the thumb in my right hand.
_ Left hand is going to be on a [C] C.
_ _ [G] _
_ [C] _ _ _ _ _ [Am] _ _
_ Left [B] hand goes down to a B,
[A] to an A.
_ Right hand chord changes from the [C] C chord
_ [G] _
to a G root position chord, G-B-D.
I add the G here.
_ _ [C] _ Then the chord changes again in [Em] my right hand
to a G-B [C]-C and an E.
_ [Am] _ _ _ _ _ _
[F] _ _ Next two chords,
in your [G] right hand you'll play a G root position chord,
but I add that [A] A in there. _
_ Left hand is going to go [G] to a G.
_ Then I slide everything down a whole step.
_ [G] _ So my left hand is now on a [F] F.
_ Right hand is on a F root position chord, F-A-C.
And I add that G in there.

_ And you're going to resolve out this introduction. _ _
[C] _ _ You can hit a G [G] in your left,
with that G root position chord in your right,
G-B-D.
_ [C] _ _ Then you resolve it out on a C in your left,
with that C chord inverted in your right,

Now to go back into that,
[F] _ [Am] go ahead and hit that [G] G in your left.
Right [C] hand is going to hit a F [F] chord, F-A-C.
I like to add that E on top.

I drop the E down to the D in my right hand.

you're going to come back with some of those same chords,

Right hand is on that F chord, F-A-C,
with that G in there.

You can go straight from the D to the G,
