_ [Am] _ There was a young man, 18 years old, that lost his life in a car accident.
[F] It was two weeks before graduation.

The high school [Am] was all upset.
They called in the counselors, the [G] psychologist, and the psychiatrist.
_ [Am] _ The principal knew she had some real problems on her hand, _ [F] so she got permission through
the [A] superintendent to have a high school [F] assembly. _ _
_ [Am] _ _ It was during the day at about 11 o'clock in the morning.
_ [F] _ She called in a Catholic priest, [G] a Baptist pastor, and [Am] me, pastor of Community Pentecostal Church.
_ _ She said, we can have this assembly, [F] but we're very limited.
_ _ You can't use the word of God as the [G] absolute authority.
You can't do that.
And you can't _ [Am] present Jesus Christ as being the only means of [A] salvation.
You can talk about God and you can [Am] talk about heaven, but you just can't use the word of
God as the absolute authority.
_ [F] You can't say that Jesus is the absolute means of salvation. _
_ Then she found out that I could sing and play the [G] piano.
So instead of me doing a whole lot [Am] of talking, they put a piano out in the middle of the gymnasium floor.

_ [Am] There were over 700 teenagers there that 11 o'clock early morning.
[F] This is the song I sang.
Because you know sometimes when we're limited and maybe we can't say the things we need
to [G] say, you can just plug in a song and the words of a song can touch [Am] you.
And I'm just praying today that the words of this song will touch you like it did those 700 teenagers.
