Amazing [Ab]
Grace, [Ebm] [Ab]
how [Abm]
sweet [Db]
[D] the [Eb] sound
[G] [C] that [Fm]
saved [Db] [Ab]
a [E] [Bb] wretch [Fm]
[Bbm] like [Ab] me.
[E] [Db]
[Eb] Oh, I [Db] [Ab] was,
[Gb] [Bbm] [Eb] was,
[Bbm] [Eb] was lost.
[D] Oh, but [Db] now [Dm] I [Eb] am found.
[Gm] Oh,
[Eb] [C] I was
[Fm] [F] blind.
Oh, [E] [Dbm] my God.
[Ab]
Right now, [Gm] right now I [Fm] can see.
I can see my miracle.
[Eb] [F] I can see my healing.
[Fm] I can see my deliverance.
Yeah, [Db] right [C] now.
[Fm] I see you.
Oh, I [Em] see you standing there with [Ab] your arms open [Am] wide to keep me and to
protect me [G] right now. Right [C] now.
[Fm]
Right now I [Em] see you.
I [Ab] see you as my Savior.
I [F] see you as my Lord, my God, my King.
[G] God, you're everything [C] I need and so much [Fm] more.
I see you, Lord.
I see you, Lord.
[Ab] Oh, I can see you, Lord.
I can see [Am] you, Lord.
Oh, [G]
[Bb] and [Am] now, [Db] now [Eb]
[Bb] I see.
[Ab]
[Db] [Ab] Thank you, Jesus.
Oh, thank you, Lord.
[Db] [Ab] I promised him I'd sing this.
I don't care [F] what's going on in my [Bbm] life [Ab] or in the world.
Hallelujah.
[Db] God, you give the glory.
[Ab]
[Fm] Hallelujah.
[Am] When God speaks, can't nobody [Gb] else say nothing.
It's just [Eb] amen.
[Gb] [Bb] Hallelujah.
[Ab]
God, [G] I'll be ever careful [Gm] to give you name.
[C] The glory.
[Am] Oh, [F] and I'm not gonna wait till the battle is over, Lord.
I'll shout right now.
You've [Gbm] already
[Bbm] revived [F] us.
[Bb] [Eb] Again.
Anybody [Ebm] that believes it's already done, I [A] dare you to praise him in [Db] advance.
[Ab]
I was 10 years old and a lady named Cordelia Bennett, she [C] took an interest in me, my gift,
my ministry, and literally said, I want to invest in this child.
And she spent some time with me, you know, teaching me some songs and giving me some
piano lessons and some voice lessons.
She recorded me at the age of 10 on my first album.
Yeah, I remember the most embarrassing thing about that first album is besides the fact
that I had on one of those first album suits.
[G]
You know, the kind that shine automatically, you know.
Little kid with a little handkerchief, you know.
I know somebody's gotta relate to this.
You know, the lining of the pocket was the handkerchief.
You pull it up and that's your handkerchief, you know.
So I mean, wow.
And I look at the shoes that I had on and I'm like, [N] oh my God, my mother and father
didn't do me like this.
I know.
But you know, hey, it was the first album.
And at that time, you know, you couldn't have told us anything.
I was the sharpest, cutest little singing boy on the planet, you know.
But I think the most embarrassing thing about that is that I was in the third grade.
I believe it was the third or fourth grade.
Where are you when you're 10?
Fourth grade.
Whatever grade I was in.
I was in elementary school, grade school.
And I was sitting in class and the teacher who I had was so proud of me that she bought my album.
She took it to the office and she says, we got to play this.
And all of a sudden, on the loudspeaker on the intercom in the whole school, here I am
singing Amazing Grace.
And all the kids are looking like, who is this?
What is this?
What is this?
You know, they're just like, what in the world?
They couldn't believe it.
And so when they announced who it was, by that time I was already all the way under my desk.
So they kind of figured it out.
