[F#] Talking [Am] to my people ain't that [F#] easy.
By the way, [Am] Sloan is a hot grunge [G#] band from Halifax.
[F#] They just landed an [E] international recording contract with Geffen Records.
A [F#] near impossible feat for any band, especially [A] one that's only been together for a year.
[F#] And in February, they're touring Europe to promote their [B] first album, Mirror.

It's not warped or anything.
Got this guitar for $40 in Calgary at a pawn shop.
This guitar amp, recorded a record with it, $25 at a flea market.
And I found this amp lying around in my grandmother's basement.
You see Jonathan, we got all this gear right here for $500 including the outfits we're wearing.
You see the gear is out there, you just gotta go out there and get it.
