Well a little bit about Hong
Kong Garden.
It's by the English rock band Suzy and the Banshees.
I don't actually know
their English to be honest.

It was released in 1978.
It's actually a debut single by Polar
Records.
_ It reached number 7 on the UK singles chart.
So it did well.
So yeah, it did well
for a debut.
So yeah, the genre of this is post-punk and new wave.
I think I was reading
that in 2005, Q placed it in the top list of 100 greatest guitar [Ab] tracks ever.

I didn't mind that, to be fair.
It was short and sweet, like chicken balls. _

yeah, that was the name of one of the first Chinese restaurants [C] she'd been to.
But I just liked it, she literally called out her older by the sounds of it.
That was a nice sort of sound, I liked how they crossed it over as well.
That sort of oriental, [N] again, that sort of Chinese maybe element to it with the instrumentals,
and then crossing that with their sort of rock as well.
[D] Yeah, thought it was great.
Orients meets punk.
It's quite interesting actually, reading up on what they were saying.
_ Yeah, it's different, I could definitely listen to that.
I think I'll have to listen to some more of the band she's actually in.
It's just a band I've never really got around to listening to for some reason,
but straight away, obviously you could tell me they were in,
I bet you couldn't as soon as [A] you started singing as well.
[C] It sounds like it's based around London as well.
I like that, we'll definitely have to react to some more of that anyway.
I thought as always as well, listening to a new song,
what's better than wearing everyone's favourite jumper at the same time?
I always get people in the comments that say that.
Again, [Gb] that's why we like these sort of suggestions,
because they're a song [D] we may have come across years and years down the line,
[C] but nothing we would have just sat back and listened to.
