Cool, [N] I'm just going to do a video on the Sing It Again solo.
Apologies the bass is distorting a little bit through the computer microphone at the
moment but I just haven't got a proper one set up.
So anyway, this will show you what you need to know.
Cool, so I'm going to focus on just the solo.
This is basically if you've been watching all the other videos trying to get this solo
down, you know the rest of the song.
This is a really, really, very slightly simplified version of it.
All I've done is taken out a couple of the runs that are harder to fit in.
But this is still going to be quick, this [F] isn't simplified as [Gb] in making it really simple
if you know what I mean.
Cool, but there's going to be some of you looking for this.
Cool, we'll start from the start anyway, just for wherever you're up to.
So we've got this F sharp octave, so you've got that twice.
[Ab]
Then off your [Bb] G sharp, A sharp,
[Db] C sharp, up to a [Eb] D sharp.
And then you've got an octave there too.
[C] [Gb]
[A] [Eb]
[E] [Gb] So you've got that twice [Db] as well.
And [Gb] then back to C sharp.
[Eb]
[Db] Straight [Eb] from C sharp up to your D sharp.
[F] And [Bb] then you've got an A sharp [Gb] octave as well.
[A] [Eb]
[Db] [Bb]
Cool, so most of you probably know that bit by now, but just to cover it anyway.
Cool, then after that [Ab] we go from the G sharp to A sharp hammer-on.
And then same thing, an octave up.
[Bb] And then play the A sharp there.
Cool, and then we start heading up the neck.
So this is where you'll see I've pulled out a couple little bits.
So I come up to 11th here, [Eb]
[F] and then hammer-on [Ab] 13th.
Play 11th on the A, and then 13th on the D.
I'll play twice.
Cool, and then this is where they carry on up the neck and put a few more bits in.
[F]
[Gb] I come straight to the run back [Dbm] down from 18th.
[C] 18th, 17th on the G.
[Ab]
18th on the D, and 18th on the A.
[A] Cool, [Ab]
[Eb] [Gb]
and then you've got the F sharp octave up high there.
And then you're into the second run.
Cool, so the second run starts out the same way.
[Bb] [Eb]
As soon as we get to that high D [Gb] sharp there, we're going to start running back down.
What's the pentatonic [Eb] exercise that answers back on itself.
[Db] So for every step you go [Eb] back, basically you go forward or vice versa.
So [Db] [D] [Db]
[Eb] [Ab]
[Bb] [F] start.
[Db] [Bb] [Db]
[Bb] [Ab] [Bb]
[Ab] [F] [Ab]
[F] [Eb] [F]
[Eb] [Db] [Eb]
[Db] [Bb]
Cool, [Eb] so basically you're just going back [Bbm] down through that pentatonic [Bb] scale.
[Ab]
[Bb] [Ab] [F] [Ab]
[F] [Eb] [F]
[Db] [Eb] [Db] [Bb]
[G] Cool, and then when you get there you're going [Eb] to repeat that [Db] last bit.
[Bb]
[C] And then make your way back up.
So you're going to slide up to 8th fret.
[F] Then I'm just going to use hammer-ons on the way back up and just play each one once.
[Ab]
[Db] [Eb]
[Ab] [B] Cool, then I'm going to come back to [C] 4th.
I'm going to play that one that's just a semitone that you hear in there.
And then coming to 6th on my [Ab] D.
[Gb] [Eb]
[Db] [B] And I'm [F] just going to run down [B]
[Ab] [Gb]
[Eb] through a pentatonic [Db] again.
[B]
Finishing on the B there.
Cool, [Gb] so we'll go from the top A.
[A]
[Eb]
[Bb]
[Ab]
[Gb]
[Eb] [Bbm]
[Fm] [Db] [Bb]
[Ab]
[Eb] [B] [Gb]
[D] [Eb]
[Bb] [Ab]
[Gb] [D]
[Eb] [Bbm] [Ab]
[Bb] [Ab]
[B] [F] Cool, and then you're straight on to that F sharp for the next part.
Again, apologies about the distortion.
In a new room I need to get a proper setup going.
But [B] I hope that helped you out anyway.
[Em]

[Eb]
[Db] Straight [Eb] from C sharp up to your D sharp.
[F] And [Bb] then you've got an A sharp [Gb] octave as well.

[F] [Eb] [F]
[Eb] [Db] [Eb]
[Db] [Bb]
Cool, [Eb] so basically you're just going back [Bbm] down through that pentatonic [Bb] scale.
[Ab]
[Bb] [Ab] [F] [Ab]
[F] [Eb] [F]
[Db] [Eb] [Db] [Bb]
[G] Cool, and then when you get there you're going [Eb] to repeat that [Db] last bit.
