Welcome back to sound special [C] guest Sharon O'Neill not long back from the [E] States
Spent six [Am] months over there, though.
Yeah, [E]
what actually just to work on the album?
Are we working live any of that?
No, just strictly for the albums and [C] pre-production and then about [E] four or five months of recording
[C] Your husband who works with [Em] you in the bands that you've had on the road [Am] here in Australia
Yeah, was he heavily involved with that sort of thing?
Yes, he played [B] practically all the [Em] guitars
we had a couple of guest solos to sort of
Break the dynamics up a bit, but he did most of it and I played most of the keyboards
So we [B] kept pretty busy
[Em]
Nominate some of the other session users that came in there and where they're from.
Will you because it's a [E] very
nice list of people isn't it?
Well, most of the [Em] name type people did overdubs
We [C] had Tom Scott [B] played some sax for us from LA who used to be in the LA Express
[Em] Some vocal work from old favorites of mine Timothy B Schmitt
It was an Eagles and prior [B] to that Poco Carla Bonoff.
Who's a lady very much in the Linda [Em] Ronstadt ilk
She did some harmonies on [B] it, too
[Em] I heard some tapes or the tape the actual cassette that you've got out for the album
It sounds beautiful and it's in so full.
Thanks drum [C] sound is so full too
Yes, I was [E] pretty pleased really fat what we got down this time.
I think we worked [B] hard on it
What single have [C] you put out in [E] America?
Is it the girls name Maxine?
Maxine's the one in [C#m] America?
It's a lighter one, isn't it?
[B] It's a little lighter.
Yeah.
[C#m] Why did you [A] go one in each [E] country totally up to [C#m] them?
I suppose they feel that they know [A] their market as long as they're behind [B] it six me
You know, [C#m] let's have a look at the one that's [A] going as a single [E] right now losing [A] you Sharon O'Neill
We'll be back to talk with Shazza right after this
