Verdeen White, it's a fun song to play, and it's a really solid bass line he came up with.
What I'd like to do is just to slow it down and show you a few of the parts, and hopefully help some of you out to learn to play this song.
Let's take a look right now at the beginning intro part.
This happens quite a bit in the song.
We're going to take it at bar 7, and this is going to be at 106 beats per minute.
The original tempo was _ 126.

I noticed that when I was working on trying to keep that string muted, that I _ [G] _ _ _ _
_ [A] _ _ _ [Gm] kind of stumbled into this Victor Wooten or slap kind of technique where _ _ by doing left hand muting, _ [A] _
_ _ [Gm] [F#] you can kind of get [F] a nice little rhythm happening in [G] there.
[A] _ _ _ [N] So that's something else you might want to explore when you're working on this.
Okay, next let's take a look at the verse.
Important thing with the verse, you want to keep all the notes really short, except for just a couple.
_ And they're going to really stand out when you keep them long, because everything else will be short, and it's a really cool effect.
And I'm going to show you what I mean.
