So I woke up this morning and decided that I was going to teach See You Again
but with Kalimba because so many of y'all have requested it and then I also
came to a realization that I can relate to this song in this very moment because
yesterday was my last day at my most recent job and you'll be noticing in
future videos that I will be filming in a different location because I'm
actually moving [Bb] home because I got a [C] new job and I'm not sad at leaving my
current job but it's sad when you think about leaving the people that you've
built small [Gm] relationships with and you know you [Bbm] spend a lot of time at work and
you spend [N] a lot of time with the people that you work with at work and I know
that some of y'all that I've worked with watch my videos from time to time and
creep on my channel and that's totally okay so if any of y'all happen to be
[Bb] watching this video I want to dedicate it to you because I'm just so thankful
for the time that we've spent together and just for the kindness that you guys
have shown me [D] and I just learned so much from each person that I've worked
with throughout all of the you know different [N] obstacles that we've overcome
together as a team and I'm just so excited for [Bb] the future but I want to
wish all of you the [N] best and I'm trying not to get all emotional in here cuz um
waterworks are kind of starting to happen and I can't just but like I said
I'm very thankful for each [Bb] and every one of you and I wish you all the best in
your future endeavors [D] and this video is for you guys.
So starting out you're
going to need a capo here on the third fret and we have some very easy chords
in this song so starting off we have an E minor [Gm] then we have a G [Bb] major C [Eb] major
and last but not least a D major.
[F] [D] Alright so on the strumming patterns the one
that you'll notice that I first start using and I also use in the bridge is a
really simple easy run out down strum so [Bb] it's just gonna sound like [Gm] this and
[Bb] as simple and easy [D] as that down strum is it adds so [Eb] much dramatic [A] emotion into
your guitar playing you know and that's your goal when you play the guitar is
you want to reflect those emotions in your playing so doing that is simple and
easy as [F] you know some of these strumming patterns can be sometimes they're the
best strumming patterns to use because sometimes over strumming it can just
[Bb] take away from the natural emotions [N] that you know you're trying to capture when
you play a song.
So the next pattern that we're going to do is that more powerful
[Bb] complex pattern and it sounds [Gm] like this [Bb] [Eb]
[Bb] it's a lot of down up down up down up
down up down up so bringing [D] it down in slow
[Gm] [Bb]
[Eb] [Bb] all right so that is it for [N] chords and for strumming patterns so now I'm just
gonna [Bb] go ahead and get into the song so here we go
[Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb]
[Gm] [Bb] [Eb]
[Bb] [Gm] [Bb]
[Eb] [Bb] [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] when I see [Bb] you again, when [Eb] I see [Bb] you [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb] again
[Gm] [Bb] [Eb]
[Bb] It's [Gm] [Bb]
[Eb] [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb]
[Gm] been a long [Bb] day [Eb] without [Bb] you my friend
Oh [Gm] I'll tell you [Bb] all about it [Eb] when I see [Bb] you again
[Gm] We've come a [Bb] long way [Eb] from where we [Bb] began
[Gm] Oh I'll tell you [Bb] all about it [Eb] when I see [Bb] you again
When [Eb] I see [F] you again
[Gm] Oh oh [Bb] oh oh [Eb] oh oh oh [Bb] oh
[Gm] So [Bb]
[Eb] [Bb] [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb]
[Gm] [Bb] [Eb]
[Bb] [Eb] let the [Bb] light guide your [F] way
[Eb]
Hold [Bb] every memory as you [F] go
And [Eb] every road you [Bb] take [Gm] will
[Bb] [Eb] always lead you home
[F] Oh [Bb] oh oh oh oh oh oh
It's [Gm] been a [Bb] long day [Eb] without you [Bb] my friend
[Gm] Oh I'll tell you [Bb] all about it when I see you again
[Gm] We've come a [Bb] long way [Eb] from where we [Bb] began
Oh I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
When [Eb] I see [Bb] you again
Oh oh [Bb] oh oh [Eb] oh oh oh oh
[Bb]
[Gm] [Bb]

[Bb] [Eb] [Bb]
[Gm] [Bb] [Eb]
[Bb] [Gm] [Bb]
[Eb] [Bb] [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] when I see [Bb] you again, when [Eb] I see [Bb] you [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb] again
[Gm] [Bb] [Eb]
[Bb] It's [Gm] [Bb]
[Eb] [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb]
[Gm] been a long [Bb] day [Eb] without [Bb] you my friend

[Eb] [Bb] [Gm]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb]
[Gm] [Bb] [Eb]
