[Gm] [Dm] Shalom, I'm Karen Davis and I'm here to bring you greetings and blessings from [D] the Land of Israel.
[Gm] [A] [Dm]
[Bb] [Gm] [Am] [A]
[D] [Dm] [D]
The [A] new album is called Sar Shalom [C] Breakthrough from the Land of Israel.
And these are songs that the [C] Lord has given us in the last [D] couple of years during some of the most difficult times that we've had here in Israel.
[D] Days where there have been suicide [C] bombings, where the nation is [C] filled with grief.
[D] Days when we have needed [C] to see the [D] Lord seated on his [Am] throne, high and lifted up, and to know the peace of God that passes all [D] understanding.
And the name Sar Shalom means Prince of Peace.
[Dm]
Oh Lord your glory, [Gm] all of creation [Am] waits to [Dm] see you heaven [E] and earth.
Oh Lord [C] your glory, [Gm] all of creation [Em] sings.
[Dm] There will be days when, how [G] do you react to children being [Am] torn apart by suicide bombers.
[Dm] So I would go to the keyboard and begin to worship the Lord and [G] these songs of intercession would [Am] come forth.
One of the songs is [F] called Baruch Haba Yeshua [Cm] and it's taken from [C] the words of Jesus, of [Cm] Yeshua, who says in Matthew [D] 23 that you will not see me again until [Eb] you say Baruch Haba V'shem Adonai.
He's saying this [Fm] to the Jewish people and there's a cry [A] as it says in Romans 8 that all creation is waiting for your [Gm] return.
[Cm] [Gm]
[D] [Dm]
[Gm] One of the first things that happened in my heart when I [D] became a believer, I was [G] experiencing the unspeakable joy [Bb] of knowing Yeshua.
Just his love was washing over me and [G] the Lord [Cm] began to impress upon [Bb] me the grief of the Jewish people, [C] the [D] comfortless hopelessness of the Jewish people.
And so many Jews [A] don't believe in God at all.
In fact the state of Israel really began out of the ashes of the [Dm] Holocaust and most people came here with any [C] fundamental belief in God [Dm] just shattered.
And so the Lord began to put in my heart a promise that I would live in the land of my [D] inheritance and I would be able to share this gift of love and the gift of [Am] peace that he's given me in Messiah.
And we began to work among Jews and [Dm] Arabs and out of that grew a congregation which we call [E] Kehalata Carmel and my husband David is the senior pastor and I'm the [Dm] worship leader there.
[D] [Gm]
[Am] [Dm] [D] There's a sequence on the album that in [Dm] some ways really [G] describes the heart of what we're [Am] trying to do with this new album, Sar Shalom.
[D] It begins with a song, one of the songs called I Will Lift My Eyes [Dm] and [Em] the chorus is I will [Gm] praise the Lord and it's [A]
got an [Am] edge to it.
It's not just I will [D] praise the Lord, it's I will praise the Lord at all times even with [G] devastation around me.
I will lift my [Am] eyes and I will see him high and lifted up.
I [Dm] will [Gm] praise the Lord, [A] I will [D] praise the Lord.
One of the reasons that [Am] I was really unable to come to Nashville at [D] this time because this is the time that all families in Israel [Gm] are preparing the bomb [Dm] shelters, the sealed rooms, [D] we are doing this.
This is in case of a gas attack.
[Dm] We have to evacuate the area and we don't have to be completely covered head to [D] toe with gloves [D] to go with it and [A] boots so that no skin is exposed.
We still have to evacuate the area.
[Dm]
We've got storage food, every family in the building has put some [A] heating air for the time that we need to be shut in.
[D] A lot of clean up work.
Bottled water.
We've got our first aid kit.
In fact we're going to be doing a seminar [Dm] with our congregation, a first aid seminar [Am] so people are really equipped if they [A] have to use bandages or any different kinds [Dm] of situations.
I am a light, [Bb] I am a light, [C] O Lord.
[Am] You are my light, O [Bb] Lord.
[C]
[Am]
[Bb] [C] [Am]
[Dm] [Bb]
[C] I pray that in every [Am] nation, there's a shaking going on, [Dm] 9-11 brought this home very [Bb] clearly to America, but that [C] in this hour that we should be able [Am] to lift our eyes and [Dm] see the King of Glory, to lift our eyes and [Bb] see the Prince of Peace, Sar Shalom.
[A] I will praise the Lord.
[D]
I will lift [A] my eyes to the Lord [Bb] on high.
[Gm] And I will [Dm] praise the Lord.
Karen and I are standing on [D] Mount Carmel and behind us is the Mediterranean Sea to the west.
We want to bless this project, bless this partnership with Galilee of the Nations, and I would like to read Aaron's high priestly blessing and bless you from Israel, first in Hebrew [Dm] and then in English.
[D] Y'varechecha Adonai ve'yishmerecha.
Ya'er Adonai panav eleka ve [C]'kuneka.
[Eb] Yissa Adonai panav eleka ve'yaseym l'cha.
Shalom.
May the Lord bless you.
[D] May He keep you.
May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you His shalom.
Shalom from [Am] Israel in the name of Sar Shalom, Jesus the Messiah.
