[A] Hi, how are you [E] doing everybody out there in Guitar Land?
This is Ronnie backstage [A] here with my guitars.
Starting with [Eb] my pedal steel here, [E] 7 pedal, of which I only ever use [Eb] about 3 of them.
If you excuse all the noise they're all packing away behind.
Yeah, I use this on songs like The Worst and Far Away [Db] Eyes.
[C] And lap [Dbm] steel here, it's an old Fender.
I [B] use on [E] Happy and Love in Vain [A] and things like that.
It's a sitar guitar here.
This I use, this is a novelty guitar but it's got a nice humming effect, you know, like
the hum of a sitar [G] which I use on [Gbm] Jumping Jack Flash and Street [E] Fighting Man, which
Dave [N] Routh's loaned me for the tour.
And the good old faithful Firebird here.
And this is Tony Zamedis, sadly we lost him just a few weeks ago.
This is a guitar from the 70s that I had all through the Places days, a stay with me guitar
I call it.
And I use that on things like Monkey Man and any sort of open tune in slide.
[Eb] This is a bender made by ESP, a Japanese company.
It's got the B bender where you pull down on the strap and it bends the B string a tone.
And a good old faithful 1955 Strat, which I use for the bulk of all the songs we play
in the set.
And a great spare here which is a 1954 Stratocaster.
And I have many spares for them but they're really great.
And this is a Weissenborn, hollow body [E] California made guitar.
[A]
[G] [Em] [E]
That is for the [Db] gentler numbers like No Expectations and things.
And we've got a couple of old guitars here from the early 50s.
It's [Em] an old Elvis type [E] acoustic.
And there's [D] another Zamedis here with the heart [E] shaped holes he made for me and [Eb] Clapton
and Bob Dylan and George Harrison.
It's a name but a few.
[Eb] Anyway, that's basically my tools at hand.
And as I say, I've got many spares.
So I'll see you on the website.
