Hi, I'm Chris [D] Reebok demonstrating [E] the FR-7.
[C] We are live at the Summer NAMM in [Bb] Austin, Texas.
[Ebm] Here, I'm going to start off [Ab] with just the basic accordion sounds for you and then [Ebm] we'll build from there.
[C] [G]
[G] [C]
[G]
[C] And then just in [Ab] case you would like like an alpine style, [A] it does have an alpine.
There are 40 different accordion sets built in.
Here's the [C] Musetta the Alpine.
[G]
[C] And in case you're [G] into a little bit Cajun style, here's a [B] Cajun style [Em] accordion for you, the Master.
[C]
[G] [E]
[C] [G]
[G] And of course, besides just the accordion basses on the left side, you can choose a tuba [C] if you would like.
[G]
[C]
Besides the [Ab] tuba, there's also acoustic bass
[E] [C] [G] and bowed bass, which is one of my favorites.
And I'll alternate [E] on the right, [D] the keyboard side with an [Ab] accordion and [C]
I'll alternate with the [Ab] saxophone.
Something like this.
[Db]
[Ab] [Eb]
[Db] [Eb]
[Ab] [Eb]
[Db] [Ab] And on the left [Gbm] side, besides just the [Ab] bass, there's also the accordion chord.
If I would like to change the accordion chord, I can change that to a guitar chord, like that.
And if on the right side, I could add a trumpet.
[C] [Eb] [Bb]
Right back to accordion.
[F] [Eb] And [Bb] then right back to the trumpet.
[Eb]
[Bb]
[Eb] [C] [F] [Bb]
And of [N] course, what makes this accordion very unique is that it's the world's first all-digital [F] accordion.
There's the headphones out, so [G] if you'd like to listen in silence without distracting any of your neighbors, you're able to do that.
[Ab] Also, you're able [C] to choose the instruments on the bass side as [F] well as the chord side.
You put it all [Ab] together, you have a very expressive instrument.
[C] [F] And one of the main reasons is that [G] there's expressive nature of the bellows.
There's a bellows sensor as well as the touch-sensitive keys.
[Gm] Let me show you one demonstration [A] of that real quick.
[Eb] If I were to grab [Ebm] a wind instrument like the clarinet, [Eb] I'll do it with the acoustic bass and [Bb] the guitar chord.
There's the [Ab] expression.
If I go like this, depending [Ebm] how hard I pull it, it affects the sound.
So [Bb] if I [Eb] combine, it gives a very realistic sound.
[Bb]
[Eb] And right back to the chord.
[Bb] I'll do it one more time for you, and then we'll finish [Bb] it.
[Eb] [Bb]
[F]
[Gm] [Fm]
[F] All right, the Roland FR-7.
Once again, Chris Freebach.
Thank you all.
