Hi, this is Midscorp [N] and this is the guitar that I'm using to get the Scotty Moore sound.
It's an Epiphone that I customized myself.
The key element to getting the Scotty Moore sound is these pickups here.
They are known as Anleco 5 or stable pickups and they were used on Gibson guitars, the
high end models.
In a very short period in the 50's and they're rare.
You don't come across them today.
These are brand new, made by Seymour Duncan [G] and they really have a unique sound.
There are other ingredients like echo and amplifier and strings and stuff like that
but that would go too far to get into that now.
But you can read about it on my webpage, how I did this recording and how I built this guitar.
Just google for the Rockabilly Guitar page and you'll find it [E] easily.
