Hey everybody, welcome to my first YouTube video and
[F#]
the purpose of this video is to [A] show you a a simple little technique [G] to make your
blues licks tastier
And almost gives it a [N] Robin Trower feel [G] and for those of you young players who've never heard of Robin Trower
I highly suggest that you go out and buy some of his albums
Bridges size or something like that
[E] but it's a very simple technique where you're going to land on a note and
then you'll drop down a [G] half step and
Bend up to that previous note.
So
Very [A] simple if I play [G] a real simple lick here
[D] So I'm playing in the key of a and I'm playing a real simple lick and [F#] I'm ending on the
Seventh fret of the G string
[D]
This note right [G] here, so
[A] [F#m] [N] So what I want to do is actually drop down a half step from that note and then back [G] up so
[D]
[A]
So I drop down to the sixth fret [D] and bent back up to the seventh note
[G]
[N] And
It's a real simple technique that you can use
Anywhere through the blues licks that you're playing and whatever note you land on you
Just drop down a half step [A] and bend back up
[E] [G]
[A]
[G] So you see that
[C] [A]
[G] You
Can bend even down low [E] you can do it
[Am] [G#m]
[G] [Em]
[A]
[B]
[E]
So again [Gm] land on the note
Drop down a half [C#] step
[B] [D]
Bend back [E] up to it
[A] [G] Okay
That's it and I hope you enjoyed it and
Let me know if you enjoyed this and I'll do some more stuff.
[D#] Alright, have
