the purpose of this video is to [A] show you a a simple little technique [G] to make your _
blues licks tastier
_ _ And almost gives it a [N] Robin Trower feel [G] and for those of you young players who've never heard of Robin Trower
I highly suggest that you go out and buy some of his albums
Bridges size or something like that
[E] _ _ but it's a very simple technique where you're going to land on a note and
then you'll drop down a [G] half step and
Bend up to that previous note.
So
_ Very [A] simple if I play [G] a real simple lick here _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[D] _ _ So I'm playing in the key of a and I'm playing a real simple lick and [F#] I'm ending on the
Seventh fret of the G string
_ [D] _
This note right [G] here, _ _ so
[A] _ _ [F#m] _ _ _ _ [N] So what I want to do is actually drop down a half step from that note and then back [G] up so
_ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [A] _ _
So I drop down to the sixth fret _ _ [D] and bent back up to the seventh note
_ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ [N] And
It's a real simple technique that you can use
Anywhere through the blues licks that you're playing and whatever note you land on you
Just drop down a half step [A] and bend back up _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [E] _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [G] _ So you see that _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [C] _ _ _ [A] _ _
_ _ _ [G] You
Can bend even down low [E] you can do it
_ _ [Am] _ _ [G#m] _ _
[G] _ _ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _
_ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [B] _
_ _ _ [E] _ _ _ _
So again [Gm] land on the note _ _ _
_ Drop down a half [C#] step
_ [B] _ [D] _
Bend back [E] up to it _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [A] _ _ _ [G] Okay
