I
[Dbm] love the Rival Sons.
I've [Db] always wanted some modern day [Gbm] rock and roll.
[E] The Rival Sons
came into my life and I took [Db] that as a blessing from the Lord of Music.
I've seen these dudes
support ACDC, [A] owned the show, stole the show, seen them in [D] small clubs, they win everyone,
and my favorite LA band, Hands Down.

[Eb] Scott called [Gb] me through a friend and [Ab] Scott and [Gbm] I

[F] I brought in Robin,
I played a [Gb] jazz gig with Robin, and [G] brought Robin in.
[A]
Scott found Jay [C] on My Face.
[Gbm] When
I clicked over to Jay's site, [Gb] I had heard of him but not really heard him.
[Gbm] He had a
song [Db] on there that was an [Gb] acoustic track.
He's doing [E] this like folky blues and he needs
to [A] get behind some big electric rock [Ab] and roll.

Turns out I've known Jay for like 10 years.
And so I brought Jay in, we all jammed.
And it was pretty inevitable, really quickly,
[Db] that there [Ab] was some kinesis and some energy and some common ground in what we wanted to
present as far as rock and roll goes.
We became the Rival Sons.
Basically that's how [Db] we formed
the band and in that show.
