[Am] [G] [D] You see I'm coming at you every night.
Strong old pretension to fall for you at [A] first sight.
[Am] [G] [D] You know that business you think it's a bore.

[E] Get around town, spend your time on the run.
[G] You handle it [A] well, you do it for fun.
[E] They're the mess of play, it should make quite a few.
[G] You give it [D] all a one [A]-two.
[Am] [G] [D] You owe attention, they never say no.
Throw your affections [A] anywhere the wind blows.
[D] You always make it here on top of the scene.
You sell the company like the cover [C] of a [A] magazine.
[E] Look in love's eyes, there's [C#m] nobody else.

Billy Squire as a guitarist, I said, no, there's a guy that really rocks.
And, you know, he, what I like [F] about Billy is that he's never afraid to crank it up to 11.
Edgar was such an enjoyable, incredible musician.
All the songs are exciting, I think, all of them.
I mean, I love playing on Free Ride, on Edgar's song.
He's just a fun guy to have on stage.
I mean, besides his musicianship, which is, you know, there's no doubt, but he was, he was really a funny guy.
I really love all the songs in the show.
I mean, I don't ever look at the set list and go, ugh.
The only time I ever looked at the set list and went, ugh, was because the rhythm part on Free Ride, I still kind of suck at it.
And I don't know whether it's a mental block or whether it's that I'm such a hack guitar player, but that riff is hard for me to play.
I'm still sort of boneheading it half the time.
But I love the song, and I grew up loving the song, so I feel bad about it.
But Edgar just every once in a while, he'll look at me and give me this look like, I know.
[A#] So tell me, are you ready to take a free ride?
Yeah!
