Shalom.
My name is Elechan Elia, which is Elijah in Hebrew.
I bring you greetings from Israel, my beloved [N] nation, which I am honored to represent here today.
Every one of us should ask ourselves, why are we here at the National Qurayah Breakfast?
We are all gathered here with one purpose, to humbly [C] come before the Almighty, to seek [F] His face and to pray for His blessings, His purposes [A] for our people and our nations.
[G] We come before the Almighty, [Bb] who transcends politics, and before whom kings and [E] kingdoms rise and [F] fall.
Presidents [Bb] change, political parties come and go, [Eb] nations ascend and descend.
We come [N] before Him, who changes not, but He remains the same yesterday, today and forever.
In challenging times, as we are seeing the often scary prophecies of the Bible coming to pass as we speak, the prophecies of the Bible that are the newspaper of tomorrow,
fear and doubt are in the hearts of my generation and in your children's hearts.
However, it is [G] written that if my people [Bb] who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and [Gm] turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive [A] their sins and I will heal [Bb] their land.
In other words, [Em] the healing of our lands depends on [Am] the five R's.
Repent, [Ab] renounce evil, restore [Eb] relationships, reconcile, and then comes revival.
[Ab] Former [Bb] President once said, America was [Gm] founded by people who believed that God was the rock of safety.
[Gb] I recognize [B] we must be [Bb] cautious in claiming that God is on [Eb] our side, but I think it's alright to [Ab] keep asking if we're on His side.
[Eb] Today we want to pray that our hearts will [F] turn to His side.
We Jews have something in common with our Christian friends represented here.
That is our faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac, [E] and Jacob, Israel.
[Bb] The Bible is the foundation of our faith.
The Jewish prophets are the fathers of the Christian faith.
And the first [G] Christians were Jews that prayed at the temple [Ab] and believed that Yeshua, Jesus, Yeshua, Yeshua, [A] was [Ab] Mashiach.
Persecution came from the Pharisees and the Roman [Bb] Empire and the Jews were scattered to the nations.
The Jews experienced more persecution under the Emperor Constantine during the Spanish Inquisition
and [G] culminating in Hitler's Final Solution, which [N] was in part inspired by the writings of Martin Luther, the founder of Protestantism.
Still today we wait to hold hands with a hostile world and the Jewish people need [Bb] friends more than ever.
It's about time for reconciliation and this reconciliation was prophesied in Malachi.
Behold, I am going to send to Elijah the prophet.
I will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the children to their fathers.
Or I will strike the land with a curse.
God will bless those who [Bbm] bless Israel.
Israel is the apple of God's [N] eye.
It's written in the Bible.
And we know that reconciliation will bring healing to our lands.
It's promised.
It's about time for reconciliation.
And for some, Yeshua was a rabbi [A] who lost control of his disciples.
For others, he was a [Bbm] prophet.
Others, [Am] the Mashiach, Messiah, Messiah, [Db] the solution for peace.
[G] Salaam, Shalom.
Regardless.
[Bb] He cried and did so many [C] fathers.
I pray that they may be [N] one as me and my father are one.
There is a prophecy of the Messiah that says a child will be given and he will be called Prince of Peace.
It's in the same book it says the Messiah of Israel will be a light to the nations and a king who will bow down before him.
I believe most of my generation of young Israelis yearn for peace and reconciliation.
And I believe one day together we will say as one, Baruch HaBab Hashem Adonai,
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the Prince of Peace.
He who makes peace in the heavens, make peace for us and all of Israel.
And for all the nations who turn to the God Almighty.
Amen.
Amen.
Thank you.
