Hello guys, we're back to doing some tutorials.
Today we're gonna [D] do Euphoria by
Polythea.
It's in drop D tuning.
D-A [Ab]-D [Em]-G-E [N]-E.
And I'm just gonna play through the parts slowly while there's tabs
somewhere around me.
And you'll know when I slide and I'll tell you the tone changes.
All that good stuff.
So first it's a clean tone.
All that good stuff.
[F]
[D] [Am]
[G] [N]
[Bb] [B] [G]
[Gb] [F] [Am]
[D] [C] [Dm]
[Em] [Am] [D] [E]
[F] [Am]
[G] [F]
[D]
[C] [Em] [A] [E]
[D] [E] Then change to [G] a distorted [C] tone.
[A] [Gm] [Fm] [Gm]
[Am] [E]
[F] [E]
[C] [B] [Am] [E]
[Ab] [Gm] [Bm]
[E] [C] [Am] [E]
[Gb] [E] [Bb]
[G] [Fm] [E] [F]
[C] [Em]
[Fm] [E] [Am]
[Am] [E] [F]
[B] [Fm]
[F]
[N]
[C] [D]
[B] [E] [C] [F]
[Am]
[C] [Fm] [C] [Em]
[Am]
[Em] [E] [Am]
[Em] [Bm]
[C]
[Dm] [C] [B] [Am]
[Em] [N]
Lick section.
[Fm]
[Gb] [Fm] [E]
[C] [Fm]
[E] [G] [E] [Em]
[F]
[C]
[Fm] [E]
[Em] [Gb]
[F]
[B] [Em] [N]
The [E] chorus again.
[F] [E] [Gb]
The [E] octave again.
[F] [C] [E]
Hit that note again the last time.
You do this.
[N]
And that.
Then you switch your tone to like something a little bit less, like a little bit more toned down.
Like less gain.
Turn your boost off or something like that.
[G]
[Am] [B]
[A] [E]
[Am] [E] [Dm]
[Gm] [Am]
[D] [B] [A]
[Ab] [Am] [Ab]
And then the third time you do that.
[Bb]
Well this is what I do, but you [Fm] do the [C] [Ab] [E]
[Am] [D] [Ab]
[A] video cut [Bb] thing.
[Ab]
[Eb] You know, four [Bm] times.
[N]
And then back to the rockin' louder [G] part.
[Am]
[Fm] [C]
[Ab] [F]
[G] [F]
[Fm] [C]
[Gb]
[Em] [Fm] You do that transition lick back to the chorus again.
And you do that chorus once.
[Ab] And then after that [N] is the chorus with licks in between.
[E]
[Am] [E] [Ab]
[Gb] [F]
[E]
[C] [E] [C]
[Fm] That's the first little lick in between [E] there.
[C] [A] [N]
[E] [Am]
[E] [Ab] Then the next lick [B] to [Em] [Fm]
[D] [Gm] the octave.
[E] [F]
[E] That transition lick is.
[C]
[Am] [E] [N]
[E] [D]
[Ab] [F]
[E] And then after you slide back to the 12, you do [Gb] these last two [E] chords to finish off the song.
[D]
[G] [Em]
And let it ring out until the song's over.
And that's it.
So if you guys like that, share it, give it a thumbs up, comment, do whatever you want.
Tell me if you want to see more of these or not.
I might or might not do more of them.
And I'll see
