All right, after the acoustic guitar intro in the song, okay, the little solo that comes in the first part of the song,
it ends like this.
[B] That's where he says so, so you think you could tell, okay?
So we'll start right there.
So [F] after the acoustic guitar solo, it [G] ends G and [C] then goes into C.
[Bm] All right, so that's where we are.
The strumming pattern of this is
very, [B] very simple, okay?
This is exactly how they strum it in the song.
There might be a couple changes throughout the track to where they miss a strum or they add an extra strum in, but it
basically follows this basic pattern, okay?
And [C] that's down,
down, up, down, down,
down, up, down, down,
down, up.
[Bm] And on this time when I hit the first time I hit down, so [C] I go down, up.
On this next down right here,
what I'm doing is I'm just plucking
two of the bass strings in the chord, okay?
[G] So if I had a G,
down, up, pluck, down.
All these are strums except for that pluck.
So down, up, pluck, down.
Strum, strum, pluck, strum.
[B] Okay, that's it.
Over and over and over again, okay?
So [Ab] all right, starting off with C.
So you think you can tell, all right?
[C]
[D] [Am]
[G] [D]
[C] [Am]
[G] [C]
[D] [Am]
[G] [D]
[C] [A]
[G]
Back [Ab] into the intro, okay?
And the intro is played in the middle part of the song and
once we get through that intro [C] another time, we come back to how I wish, how I wish you were here, okay?
And it's the same
[B] chord progression over again, okay?
And that's C, D, A minor, G,
D, C, A minor, G, okay?
C, D, A minor, G,
D, C, A minor, G.
All right?
So when we come back to how I wish, how I wish you were here, [C] it's
[D]
[Am] [A] [G]
[D] [C]
[A] [Am] [G]
[Em] All [B] right, back into the intro again.
Really not that hard.
It's the same thing over and over again.
The biggest thing to remember
if you want that tab, you can go on any tab site and get the basic chords.
It's the strumming pattern.
This song is all [G] about the strumming pattern, okay?
And remember it's down,
If [E] you play along with the track, put some headphones on, you'll be [B] able to hear that you're strumming exactly along with the track, [N] okay?
So I hope that's been helpful for you.
