Piano: How to Play "He Got Up" by VaShawn Mitchell chords
Start Jamming...
[E] Alright, so [Ab] there's a couple of things that we could do
One I'm playing an A flat major 7 so we got a flat C E flat and G
[Gm] Sometimes I'll go ahead and add a B flat
Okay, [G] and my left hand all I'm doing is playing a G
Okay, so we put that together as well [F] as
The next chord F B and we can add an E flat
All [G] right, and my [Bb] right hand is
[Eb]
An E flat major so E flat G and B flat.
So when we put those two chords together
[Ab] [B]
[Bb] All right, so you'll notice what I did was I
Went up an octave in the right hand
Which gave me room in the left hand to add the F B and the E flat now when I was close together
I only had room to play F and B in the left hand.
Okay, and I played the E flat major [Eb] in the right, [B] okay
[E] Now let's look at the next chords
[F] All right
[D] [Cm] [Eb]
[C] [A]
[B] [C] [F]
[C] [Eb]
Okay, that's our right hand.
So we'll [Dm] start here
Okay in the right hand.
I have CD F A and C and
[D]
Then we'll go to a diminished [F] now.
Let's look at the left hand
[Bb]
[F]
[Bb]
[B] okay, so
What I'm doing in the left hand is
Playing F A and B flat and then we go into [Ab] the diminished
All right, so we have F A flat B and D
[B]
Okay
[E] So we start [Bb] here
[Ab]
We can go to our diminished.
All right, and then in my right [Bbm] hand
I'm taking D flat and I want to roll off of [Cm] F to G and then I have C there
[B] All right in my left hand.
All I [C] want to do is play a C
All right, so you could hear
[Ebm]
[Eb] [Bb] Right hand now is E B flat and E flat
Okay, and then in my left hand, I
[Ebm] Played G flat and E flat
All right
[E] Let's take a listen.
[G] We'll back it up
[Gm] [Am]
[F] [Bbm]
[Ebm] [A]
All right, so now
[F]
[Dm] over F
We have E flat A and D in the right hand.
[F] Excuse me in the left hand
All right
[G] Now in the right hand I have G C and [F] F
Okay
[A]
[F] All right, then we have this movement that we can do in both hands
[Cm] So [G] we'll walk up half steps [E] G A flat and A
[A]
C D
[Ab] Back to C [Eb] and let's go to a G flat diminished
[B]
All right, and this is a G flat diminished seven.
[Gb] So we got
[A] G flat a C and E flat and [B] we can double up in both hands
With these with this movement in the chords, all right
[G] [Am] [A] [Bb]
Okay, so in [E] the right hand, I'm gonna [F] play an F major which is F A and C in the left hand.
[Bb]
I
Want to play F A B flat and D
