I'm Phil Palmer.
This is my Maton Performer.
It's very sticky and hot here.
You can see the sweat running down the side of me.

Maton asked me if it was possible for me to come out on the road with them to
show some guitars at the various fairs they're doing around the world.
I would
love to have done it because I'm a great supporter of Maton.
Unfortunately I'll
be on the road with Eros Ramazzotti all through that period playing this.
_ Basically I just wanted to show you a guitar and me playing it that they
can show on their stand at the various fairs.
OK so here it is I'm gonna play
you one of my favorite pieces from Donald Fagan's called the
New Frontier.

What you're gonna hear by the way is basically we've put down a
DI and we have a mic on the guitar and at some point during the tune we'll
[E] fade between the two things so you can tell the difference and you can see how
good the acoustic sound is and how good the pickup is.
