[Eb] Yeah, the first record I owned, by Jimi Hendrix, is a live album called Hendrix in the West.
It's just seven songs from various locations, playing the wildest guitar ever.
It's since been discontinued, but I believe now that they've reissued it again.
I cannot believe it was discontinued, but it was him playing live, and it was just the first time I did electric guitar, [Ab] you know, [Eb] being played like that.
Lemmy was, [N] for six months, Lemmy kind of roadied with Hendrix.
He was like a humper, just carried the gear in and out.
And he used to watch him every night, Lemmy said, and most nights he was just [Ebm] incredible.
I bought it from my cousin, I did, and then I had to go and buy the vinyl, [Bb] and I still got the vinyl.
And when I got burgled years and years ago, [B] the stupid burglar took a load of my albums, but he didn't take that one.
I still got the original one.
It's great, it's called Hendrix in the West.
I recommend everyone [Ebm] checks it out.
[Eb] [Bm] [Ab]
[Ebm] Well, I did have till the burglar got his chops into it.
I did have about three or four hundred at some point.
I still got a few stacks like that.
[Eb] I've got one vinyl player at home, which I've never, it's too complicated for me to set up.
Nobody will help me set it up.
And this little vinyl player's dotted around places.
[Ab] [Eb]
[Bb] I remember Led Zeppelin II when I got that, and just open gatefold sleeve, nothing like gatefold sleeve and Houses of the Holy by Zeppelin.
That's probably my favorite cover, album cover.
And it's a great album as well.
That cover, I've got the artwork, it's about that big, and it's the front cover made up of all the words from the album.
It looks like the front cover, the same [Eb] colors and [Bm] everything.
[Db] [Eb] That's just fantastic.
[B]
[Ab] [Eb] I don't have a favorite album.
There's lots, you know, like Captain and Me by the Doobie Brothers.
[Ebm]
You know, all the Floyd stuff's fantastic.
It's gone forever and ever.
I wouldn't buy you with that.
