And I've kind of carried on that tradition by taking an Appalachian lyric and mixing
it up with a Mardi Gras Indian rhythm.
And I got to record this recently here in New Orleans with Big Chief Monk Boudreau and
the Golden Eagles, who really gave it the authentic Mardi Gras Indian flavor.
