[N] [Bb] [Eb]
[Bb]
[Eb] [Bb]
[F] [Bb]
Alright, that's the intro and the [Gb] picking pattern for this [Db] really [Eb] cool song I saw in
a commercial and I wanted to show everyone.
Okay, for this [Em] song, you're capo at the first [Gb] fret and the [Em] song I downloaded off of YouTube
[C] sounded just a little flat.
[E] So this [F] will be your E and then [Bb] your A and [Eb] your D.
Okay, and you can tune them.
[Gb] The chords we'll be playing [Bb] basically are [Eb] A, D, a form of D, [F]
E, back to A.
[Ebm] There's a little bridge too and I'll show you that.
[G] So the picking [Bb] pattern, we're going to be alternating [F] bass notes but we're going to
start on the [Fm] fourth string in an A form.
So we're picking the fourth [Bb] string, [G] pulling up on the second [F] and third string.
Okay, second and [Eb] third will be the strings that you pull up on.
So [F] four [Bb] twos, five twos, four twos, five twos.
Then the third time through, [Em] you're going to pick it up, [C] pick up this middle finger,
move into a [Eb] D position, hit that fourth string, pluck up [Ebm] on that D and then go right back
[Bb] to your A with the fifth root note.
Alright, so we have this [Eb] so far for the intro.
One, two, three, four.
[Bb]
[Eb] [Bb]
Alright, then we're going to go back to [Ebm] four and [Gb] five and then [Eb] the next time we go to four
will be the A form.
So we've just finished going to the D, we'll start [Bb] with the A and [F] [Bb]
then five, back to the
A, four, five, then four [F] here.
We're out of the picking pattern a little bit so we're going to hit four again [Bb] and five,
[Eb] then go to our D.
Alright, and back to [Bb] the A.
Now, when he goes to the A here, [D] or I'm sorry, the E, [F] he's going to pluck the sixth string
and then back to your [Bb] A.
Just [G] a little bit of a variation that he adds in there, [B] okay?
So let's take it through.
[F] We're going to go with the fourth root note.
[Bb] Back to A, four, five, four, and then four again.
Now to [Eb] D.
See how the four comes in and then [Bb] five, back to A, four, five.
We'll hit [F] our sixth and then back [Bb] to A.
[Eb] [Bb]
[G] Alright, that'll get you through [Gbm] the rhythm of the song, [C] okay?
There [F] is one part where they [Gb] come out of the A [F]
[Bb] and [Eb] he goes to D and he [E] holds it.
So it'll sound like this.
Let me show you.
This is where the B chord and the [Dbm] E chord will come in.
[E] So we're going to take it from that.
[F]
We'll start with the fourth root [Eb] note to a D.
And [E] this is played for a little bit [Eb] longer of a measure.
[C] Now we'll go to B.
[F]
Alright, so what he's doing [G] there, he's doing that [Bm] D back and forth, five and four with [Eb] the
twos, and I believe it's a full measure.
Then we're going to go to the [Am] B and we'll still [Em] be playing five and four and [Cm] plucking on the [C] twos.
Okay, and then we're going to go to [E] E and we'll pluck the six and [F] five with the twos.
Does that three times, [C] the fourth one will just be [Cm] pluck the six and [F] two.
Three times and then you're back into it.
[Bb]
[Eb] [G] Alright, so you know the rest [C] of the rhythm.
And really that's the [E] whole song.
[Gb] It's just really a matter [Gbm] of practicing that finger picking [E] and getting it down.
It's not a real fast song, [G] but I suggest you take it, slow [Eb] it down and practice it
slow and build [Cm] up some tempo to it.
So cool song, fun to play.
Hope you enjoy it.
